Petey's is our favorite when we stay at the Wentworth. The Wentworth has a pretty good lobster roll too.

Bistro Zinc - Lenox
My wife and I have enjoyed several lunches here for some time. I have read many bad reviews; however, our experiences have always been pleasant until today. Most of the bad comments concerned attitude of the staff. Others cited bad and overpriced food. My wife had a problem with the taste of her meal that we have had there in the past. They seasoned it differently and she could not enjoy it. The manager offer to make it again, but let us know we still had to pay for the first preparation ... a very dumb business decision! We chose not to take that option and shall not return.

Like a mini Whole Foods.... a few notches lower. You should go there. Good selection of produce and specialty items.
Gershon's has whitefish salad that is usually good .... sometimes too salty for my taste. We usually try a little before buying.

Just had some whitefish salad from Fresh Market..... not bad. Ben & Bills is from Acme... usually too salty for me. When the make fresh, it's pretty good.

I'm not a big fan of BBQ chicken, but I had some last night at The Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake and it was real good. They have a BBQ on Wednesday and Saturday during the summer... no more this year. However, if you ever go to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, this is only another fifteen minutes up the road.

I do not care for the restaurant. You sit too close to the next table and the wine prices are absurd.

I disagree. Usually get a good table. If I do not like, I do not accept and get a better one.
Anyone been to The Farmhouse in Lake George recently?
Ordered bottle of wine and one cocktail for four of us. Wine delivered with a reasonable wait and reminded server of cocktail order. Snacks arrived and mentioned cocktail again. Twenty minutes later and another reminder for drink to arrive.
Dinners were delivered and I cancelled appetizer that they forgot.
Food was enjoyable, but aggravation distracted from pleasure.
We have also enjoyed your recommendation of Owl at Twilight in Olmstedville.
