Best pizza in Rogers Park?
Thanks, these help. I'll definitely try Gruppo d'Amici, as it's within walking distance (I don't have a car).
I've tried Apart Inc. several times--quality was good, but the delivery was TERRIBLE...everything arrived stone-cold and at least 15 min after I was told it would be there.
Candlelight and Calos are now on my list to try.
Best pizza in Rogers Park?
Please help - I'm despairing of ever finding good thin-crust pizza in Rogers Park. I hate Giordanos. I've tried Tedinos, Sarpinos--both were okay, not great. (And Sarpinos was really pricey.) Any suggestions?
Anything good around Loyola University?
Try Blue Elephant (thai/japanese) at the corner of Devon and Magnolia (one block west of broadway). They tend to oversauce a bit, but I've had generally pleasant times there.
If you are looking for something a little less expensive, a walk up north to Jarvis near the redline stop will take you to Charmers cafe/Dagel and Beli. They have some great bagel sandwiches (I'm partial to the Blackforest ham and swiss on a rye bagel with Dijon.)
Help! Brunch in/near Rogers Park
UncommonGround just opened a new location on Devon, (1401 west). The menu looks great:

If you're willing to go farther south (5707 n. Clark), there's M. Henry, which also has a nice brunch menu (though they close the cafe at 3 on Sundays, so that might not leave you much time.): http://mhenry.net/menu.html#brunch
Personally, I'd stay away from Leonas, which has always underwhelmed me. (Same goes for the Heartland, which never has understood the concept of seasoning.)
