Next time your in San Antonio try the chicken fingers special for lunch at Good Time Charlie's on Broadway. It comes w/ mashed (which are great), but you can order fries. When they ask if you want gravy on the fingers or on the side, tell them both and you will not be disappointed.

The Longhorn is great, but if you are a mustard guy be sure and let them know to skip the mayonaise. They love the mayo there.

The "Best" is always hard to define, but if you ever go through Ballinger (where US 67 and US 83 cross), try Alejandras. The food is excellent and I do not mean excellent for such a small town. I mean excellent. American or Mexican the food will knock your socks off.

Anytime is good, but for a great lunch try Good Time Charlie's on Broadway in San Antonio. Everything is good, but a simple chicken fingers and gravy special cannot be beat. Taste relative to cost is exceptional.
