Where to Eat on the Cabot Trail

Hi all.
My wife and I are driving the Cabot Trail for 4 days/3 nights in mid-August and need to line up where to stop along the way for the best food around.
We're driving from Halifax to Mabou, then from there up to Pleasant Bay, and then down to Ingonish. Flying out of Sydney the final day.
We're perfectly willing to stop anywhere along the way and out of the way if need be.

Thanks!

Budget Wedding Reception--Manhattan

i posted this in the outerborough board and got very little (but helpful-thx!) response. thought i would try here also. we're getting desperate:

We are looking for a nice restaurant with tasty food where we can have a wedding reception. Here is our criteria:
- no more than $100/person including drinks (not full bar, only wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks), gratuity and taxes
- can accommodate up to 70 people (preferably during winter, but can be flexible with timing)
- in Manhattan, Brooklyn (Carrol Gardens, Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights area) or Queens (Astoria, LIC)
- permitted to stay for at least 3 hours
- within walking distance to subway line
- we would like to a sit down dinner, but are also open to an afternoon cocktail reception with appetizers
- fantastic food!

If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks

Food in Kuala Lumpur and Sadankin

We're headed to Kuala Lumpur and then to Sadankin in August, and would like some insight as to what is not to be missed...Restaurants, markets, specialties, etc. in all price ranges would be appreciated. Thanks.

Brunch around Washington Heights?

Has anyone discovered anything really great for brunch up around 180th? Even a solid eggs, waffles, and bacon will impress. Thanks.

Good brunch in the east village?

Prune (54 E 1st St.) may be the best brunch i've had over there. 5 Points is good, and Freeman's is a must.

Best Vegetarian in NYC

I really like Tsampa (212 E 9th St). Simple and fresh ingredients, casual but intimate atmosphere, and the price is right.
