The Cake Cafe at the corner of Spain and Chartres in the Marigny has fresh home made, boiled bagels and lox daily on the menu. I grew up in the DC and NYC area and will not settle for frozen bagels shipped in. They are boiled with Malt in the water which makes all the difference. |

Welcome to the city. I own The Cake Cafe on the corner of Spain and Chartres in the Marigny. A great neighborhood. We are a bakery with everything homemade.as well we serve a full breakfast. Evelyn's is a Funky Old School Watering Hole. The Owner Frank in in his 80's but looks 50. Go in have a drink and listen to Frank. It is worth the experience. |

Best (or even good) Coffee or Espresso in N.O.? New Orleans isn't about finding the newest Barista. Its not about finding a good Espresso Pull. That is from somewhere else. There is good coffee everywhere. We use a small roaster, Try Me Coffee. New Orleans Coffee Roasters is good too. Give them a call and find out who they supply. |
