Dinner Americana at Brand?

there is a jody maroni and a cheap pizza place at the americana, too. I would reccommend Frida or Cheesecake Factory for the better food at Americana. Frida, being the better of the 2, they also have good HH specials.

Professional Chef considering move to San Diego

I am a very serious 23 year old professional chef with aspirations to be one of the great. I am originally from the Los Angeles area where I worked at a 4 star restaurant, but left about 2 years ago to move to Chicago to further pursue my career. I currently work in Chicago for a very well known chef at a 3 star establishment, but am considering a move back to california to be closer to my family and friends. I am not too familiar with the culinary scene in the San Diego area, outside of what little I've read in magazines "ie Gavin Kaysen". What are the top restaurant in the area, preferably that are doing more innovative and creative food?
