Pizzeria Mozza - kid friendly?
The very first time my husband and I ate at Pizzeria (two years ago this week) there was a young lady breast-feeding a newborn at the table next to ours. It was sort of shocking at first because the tables are close together, but it certainly made the evening lively and we are regulars now.

My husband and I eat there every week. I love the Foie gras, biscuit, maple sausage gravy and comforting Poutine! Arlene and Billy are my favorite servers. The atmosphere is definitely not quiet, but a nice pumped up energy throughout.
Terroni - how's the atmosphere there?
I just ate at Terroni on Saturday and LOVED the "C't Mang" White Pizza... with mozzarella, gorgonzola, fresh pears, walnuts, speck (smoked prosciutto) and honey. The restaurant is sort of noisy inside, but very "lively"... and when you visit the restroom you get to listen to Italian lessons. Fun!

Laurel Tavern just opened this week. I went last night and loved the food. Heirloom Tomatoes with Buratta, Roasted Marrowbones, Burgers, Chorizo Fondue, Fries cooked in Pork Fat! I LOVED the Pork Belly Skewers. It's casual. Full bar. Address is 11938 Ventura Blvd.
I need Filipino food!!
Last night I had Halo Halo (Filipino dessert) at Max Restaurant in Sherman Oaks.… it was such a refreshing dessert after eating a rich and spicy (delicious) dinner. Pear and candied squash with vanilla bean ice cream, caramel flan, coconut milk, jellies and nuts over crushed ice.

Chateau Marmont - how's the restaurant?
Just wondering if anyone has been to Bar Marmont since Carolyn Spence took over as chef? She used to work at the Spotted Pig in NY. The Pistachio Crumble with pistachio ice cream is SO delicious that it's worth the trip! It's topped with salt which was just mouth watering. I spoke to Carolyn at the Taste of the Nation, Culver City and she said she has a new dessert similar to the pistachio but with almonds... so I'll definitely be back for that...
