Blue Water Seafood in Red Bank is closed

Maybe it was the money they had to pay to block off that whole strip of broad street for their valet parking that did them in.

Runa Peruvian Cuisine Red Bank

I was making my weekly run to Bagel Oven and noticed a sign for this restaurant. I did a google search and it looks like it has been in the works since 2012 and hopefully opening soon. It is going to be located where Eurasian Eatery was . I've never had Peruvian food, but it looked delicious on No Reservations. I wonder if they'll have cuy.

Sahara in Mattawan on 34

My family and I get food from the market side periodically and have eaten in the restaurant once. They're gyro meat is delicious. The hummus was very good. The grape leaves were good. I enjoyed their rice which was a pilaf a lot. I can't remember the Egyptian name of what we ordered my son but Armenians call it Lula Kebab and it is basically a tubular piece of spiced chopmeat that is grilled and that was excellent. Almost as good as my wife's. They're tzatziki sauce also is good. That's all we've tried at this point but we really haven't had anything that wasn't enjoyable. The service in the restaurant was slow but friendly the one time we ate there. It's definately the best middle eastern/Greek food we've had down here.

NEW Cluck-UChicken to Open in Toms River NJ

This may be my anal side coming out(thankfully not literally), but I noticed the 50 bucket of wings is 39.99 while their best value tray of 100 is 79.99. 2 buckets of 50 would be 79.98 and a slightly better value.

corned beef in monmouth county nj

I agree Joon that Richards Pastrami is excellent. I guess I should have been clearer that I always prefer Corn Beef. My wife always gets pastrami whenever we go to a Jewish deli and I usually don't think much of it anywhere, but Richards I can eat.

You could try Hoffmans in Little Silver. My personal favorite is their Coffee Oreo.

Long Branch Eats

Best bet for seafood would be to drive home to Blue Point Grille. I live 5 minutes from Long Branch, but to me it's worth the drive when I want fish/oysters. My wife and I I will actually be there Saturday night to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I would agree with prior recs that in LB Niko's is your best bet. Nav Fishery and Mr. Shrimp are also very good.

Muang Thai Red Bank

I've heard some of the Vegan ducks won't even wear clothes made from animal products. They don't mind paying some extra bills for faux leather etc.

Just moved to Princeton, looking for oysters

+1 for Blue Point Grill. My wife and I went there for our anniversary in May specifically for the oysters and were not disappointed.

Jersey Shore Food Truck Wars

I agree the lines were crazy. Also not being 100% sure you were in the right line was frustrating. The only truck my group even got to was the taco truck. The pork and chicken tacos were good. They had a fried catfish taco that was excellent. Crispy fried catfish with an excellent sauce. The only thing better was the couple of wins I had betting on the ponies!!!

Looking for a Restaurant in Central and Northern NJ for a Baby Shower...Please help

I had my wife's baby shower at Restaurant Nicholas arguably the finest restaurant in NJ. The daytime private party prices were within your budget in 2010 before my little guy was born. I believe the price per person included wine. I would give them a call.

Wines that pair with Russian cuisine?

Without knowing specifically what we will be having does anyone have any suggestions for wines that generally pair well with Russian cuisine? My wife and I both prefer red wines in general. Thanks.

Drove by today and noticed a new sign at this location. I believe it said Bangkok Thai. I couldn't tell if they were open yet.

la cashina- matawan?

My wife and I ate there a little over a year ago. The food was ok. We split a hot antipasti. I remember thinking some parts were good while others weren't. My wife got veal parm and the cheese was thicker than the veal. Their sauce was good. I got a pesto dish that I did enjoy. I would have probably have gone back, but they commited what I consider a cardinal sin in the restaurant business which is charging for Soda refills. That just drives me up a wall and cost them any chance of repeat business.

Thai Chilies in Eatontown

I thought Thai Thai was pretty bad. We used to live about a mile south of Siam Smiles and always enjoyed their food. It's probably been a year since we ate there so our review would be a little stale. Aligado in Hazlet was decent, but I stopped going when they started charging for every other Soda refill. If people are going to drive out of the Eatontown area for Thai then I would go Four Seasons in Piscataway/Edison(I can never remember which) which is probably the best Thai food I've had in Jersey.

Thai Chilies in Eatontown

I wouldn't be surprised if they were closed. I never saw many vehicles in the parking lot. When my wife and I tried them for the first time about a month ago it was the worst Thai food I'd ever had. The fish cake app had ok flavor, but chewy texture. The Tom Yung Kung just had an odd flavor. Not Terrible, just not good. The Pad Thai was flavorless. The duck was overcooked with chewy skin. The yellow Curry was the best entree but again was just ok and the meat was overcooked. We ordered medium, but everything was sweet with no spice. We didn't even bother saving the leftovers.

Pizza in Monmouth County

Yes it is. My wife and I found Luigi's Pizza acceptable, but hated their food. We tried Abramo's on a lark when they sent a menu through the mail and so far have thought just about everything has been good except for one speciality pizza that was exceptionally salty, but it had anchovies and olives so I guess we should have expected it. I think they may somehow be related to the Cafe Vittoia that used to be in Holmdel because that is the name my credit card receipt has for their charges. I was never there before it closed, but several people told me the food was good.

Have you ever tried Abramo's in the A & P shopping plaza in Little Silver? My wife & I both feel they have the best food & pizza that delivers to Little Silver.
