Indo-Pak (specifically Nihari)?

You'd have to go to Jackson Heights... there are a bunch of places there, including Kebab King. It's an easy ride on the 7 train.

Chowhound challenge - cheese manakish, anywhere in LA??

World Famous Grill (formerly Famous Hamburger) in Bell has the most amazing cheese manakish! Their chicken shwarma wrap is to die for too. About 20 minute drive from downtown. It's owned by a Lebanese family and the grandma is usually there making the manakish herself.

Strange Pairings that Taste Uncommonly Good

Then you've never had mirche ka salan, a Hyderabadi dish of hot green chiles cooked in a peanut-sesame-tamarind sauce. So good!

Goat cheese haters?

I finally gave goat cheese a try.. and I agree it tastes so gamey... i had to mask it with dill to swallow. But the thing is, I love goat meat. Actually, good young goat (before they're old enough to spray) has none of that gamey-ness... it tastes sweet and is tender like veal.
And I agree on cilantro... I don't gag, but I do get put off. I've found that mixing it into a hot dish and letting it cook a tad helps.

Seoul International Airport?

I'm about to book tickets on Asiana, and I have a choice of a 4-hour or 8-hour layover in Seoul on the way back. I was wondering if anyone had done the transit tours offered at the airport, or would it better to take the hotel voucher that Asiana gives?
