Solo Bar Dining in Boston area

Wow, tremendous set of recommendations everyone. I'm leaning towards one night at Eastern Standard and one night at Uni. We'll see...

I do need brunch on Sunday morning, again within a mile or so of Hilton Back Bay. I'm wondering if the Pour House has decent brunch? I don't mind the NFL package keeping me busy while I eat solo...any other brunch ideas nearby?

Thx!

Solo Bar Dining in Boston area

This is so close to what I'm looking for, I will abort creating a new thread. Solo Bar Dining, but:

Is there anything within .5-1.0 miles walking distance from the Hilton Back Bay that the 'Hounders would particularly recommend?

good mexican within 5 min driving radius of Streets of Tanasbourne (Beaverton, OR)?

I think your best bet is Taqueria Ochoa on SE 9th and Oak in downtown Hillsboro. The drive down Cornell doesn't have too many lights either.

Get a bunch of huaraches and gorditas, and load up on chips and salsa. Sabrosa!

Later evening (10-10:30pm) Dinner Recs

Great Recs. Thanks to everyone, although now I've almost got too many options.

Has anyone tried Town Hall later in the evening? Perhaps it's a little less loud than normal dinner hours?

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely remember to wear a jacket too!

Later evening (10-10:30pm) Dinner Recs

Hello SFHounders,

Taking the girlfriend to SF for the weekend in August...she's only briefly visited before. We're doing the evening Alcatraz tour and will get back approx 9:30. What are good options for a 10-10:30 dinner? Delfina and A16 are two options I considered, A16 since it is near the Marina. Mid to upscale is fine in any cuisine type.

Other places we're planning to hit on the trip are Canteen, luella, Tadich and Yank Sing.

Thanks!
