Best places that deliver to the Beach area?

Definitely Thai House and I actually like Ali's Tandoori House, for when I feel really lazy about going over to Little India.

Gabby's Pork Ribs.......... Have you tried them?

Definitely very "saucy". Not gourmet grub but good place to watch a game, they have tvs everywhere in that place.

I should also mention that I have had good ribs in the Beach at The Fill Station which is pretty much due south from Gabby's right on Queen Street. Huge portion but with actual meat and not all fat! They also make homemade potato chips for the side which were pretty good.

Dried Mangoes

I used to get them at Noah's at Bloor/Spadina and thought they were quite good.

I haven't had the ribs at the Gabby's on Danforth but tried them once at the one on Kingston Road. Really fatty, wouldn't get them again. I think it may even have been a Thursday night, I can't recall for certain.

Gelato in East Toronto (Scarborough)

There's also another gelato place that opened on Queen, can't remember the name. Ed's definitely has great ice cream, haven't tried their gelato.

Stratford

I vote for The Old Prune, had a fantastic meal there two years ago while in Stratford.

new restaurants - yonge sheppard area

I tried the Viet Deli (or whatever it's called) for lunch one day. Had a lemongrass chicken with rice, it was pretty good, better I'd say that Thuyen which is a few doors down. Lunch menu was limited as opposed to the regular menu and service was spotty but that was right when they opened so hopefully they've ironed out the kinks! I'm definitely going back for another try.

Touring Greece: Athens, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Delphi, Olympia - Suggestions Welcome

In Santorini I would recommend Selene for a splurge and Nikolas for good food at a good price. Nikolas doesn't have a menu if I recall correctly so you need to be open to suggestion and seeing what the specials are that day.

Aroma in Huntsville

I've been twice and enjoyed it both times, good meal and nice atmosphere (although last year we went during the summer and the cottage crowd had their kids there). The menu looks like it changed since the last time I was there, but I recommend the maple pumpkin brule for dessert. The martinis were also very good!

I second El Sol and I also like the guacamole at Margarita's on Baldwin.

Edward Levesque's

We had a very good dinner there over Christmas, the only thing I found... well... odd was when it came time to pay we put down two credit cards (as we often do when dining out with another couple, in order to split it down the middle and not nickel and dime over who had what) and were told "Edward doesn't like that". ???? Heck, even Boston Pizza and other chains let you split between two credit cards!

Chinadoll on College - anyone?

I'm looking for a great place on College for a pre-bachelorette party dinner. Something with good chow but that appeals to some not-too-adventurous eaters in the group. Chinadoll caught my eye but I can't find any reviews. Anyone been?

Malai Kofta in TO?

Tandoori House at Yonge/Sheppard has a fantastic dish that they call Kofta Birbali, sounds like the exact same thing. The sauce is fantastic!

Kofta Birbali

Midland-Penetanguishene and environs

Henry's Fish House! It's an institution in the area, there's one at a marina so you don't have to go out to the one on Sans Souci.

Summerlicious Reviews

We at at Brant House (actually quite enjoyable for a $25 meal, had the gazpacho and flat iron steak) and at North 44 (had the smoked salmon with potato pancakes and then the beef tenderloin) which was A++ on the food, D- on the service. You really do get rushed through when you're on Summerlicious, we even got different bread than those ordering from the regular menu (just plain baguette, others had really nice flat breads etc.)!

Is the second place you are thinking about possibly Blu Lobster Bistro?

I agree with Starvin, Pomegrante is a welcome addition to the 'hood. Great brunch too!
