Natural/MSG-free in Mexico City
I guess it depends on what you mean by "natural," but it is not naturally occurring in most foods. It is sold as a powder, and added.
My thinking is that since Mexico City is the most cosmopolitan city in Mexico, there must be some organic type restaurants popping up. I guess that's kind of what I'm looking for.
Natural/MSG-free in Mexico City
I will be traveling in Mexico City with somebody who has a bad MSG allergy, and am looking for a suggestions of good restaurants that use all natural and fresh ingredients. Before you say "there's no MSG in Mexican food" I just want to add that the stuff is in all sorts of unexpected ingredients commonly used in the U.S. (chicken broth, spice mixes, marinades).
Usually places that emphasize using fresh natural ingredients, and make all their own sauces from scratch, are good bets. Any thoughts?
