Best meal I ever ate:

Would have to be (mostly for sentimental reasons, but the food was also very delicious) the Earl Grey tea poached (perfectly) wild salmon w/ Bernaise sauce, garnished w/ a plum slice & black currant jam, served atop asapargus, all lovingly prepared for me by my sweetheart on our second date. Dessert would be the tahitian vanilla bean & coconut cupcake with passionfruit (real, italian) buttercream icing or salted caramel *anything*.

My current drink of choice:

Iced tea - no lemon or an extra spicy bloody mary.

I really wish I could:

Bake well.

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Is something really easy like peach bourbon pork chops or roast chicken (rosemary garlic, lemon thyme, apple sage, etc.), some sort of potato, seasonal veggies and a great loaf of crusty bread & butter. Or for a very casual get together, my lemon-cilantro chicken tacos w/ homemade beans, rice, salsa & gaucamole. I prefer to make something delicious yet simple so that I can enjoy my guests.

My favorite comfort food:

Fried chicken or pork chops, green beans w/ bacon or greens with ham hocks, cheesy grits or creamy mashed potatoes & black pepper cream gravy
