I will be in Vancouver for a couple of days on business. I am staying at the Marriott Pinnacle and my meetings are up and down W. Georgia street. I really need some help deciding where to hit up for some meals. I love seafood, asian food (especially dim sum), street food, local/seasonal food and am really open to any ideas. I am travelling alone and am not particularly concerned with budget. I won't have a car.

I will have two lunch opportunities (can't take longer than 1-1.5 hours including travel time) and two dinners.

A few days in Halifax

I will be visiting Halifax for a couple of days and am looking for some great places to dine (alone). I particularly love seafood, dim sum, and unique local food experiences.

I am staying at the Marriott Harbourfront and won't have a car but would cab if necessary.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack recommendations all happily considered.

I would like recommendations for London and Paris. In London, we are staying at a friend's place in Kenton. In Paris, we are staying at the Marriott Champs Elysee. I am especially interested in finding out about

-inexpensive, quick places for lunch
-a great place in Paris to pick up break, cheese or pate/charcuterie for a picnic lunch
-a nice dinner
-unusual food experiences
-great food stores to buy French delicacies or exotic ingredients
