Where in White Plains is it?

Harbor steak and seafood in mamaroneck

Club car has been open a couple of weeks but I don't know anyone that has been. Looks very nice from the pictures on their website.

I think I give up on Pizza in Westchester

does anyone know when Nicky's is going to reopen?

I think I give up on Pizza in Westchester

Anthony's is a big chain that was recently bought by the outback. they do have very good chicken wings and short ribs. the pizza is good as long as you eat it there. not good cold or reheated at home.

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

It is the same owner.

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

that's true. the same group is opening a Butterfield 8 on the corner of Mamaroneck and Post next to Haiku where the FedEX office used to be. They are also opening up a mexican restaurant called Lolas and took over the Thirsty Turtle and Kellys...

Iron Tomato - White Plains

last year they got a beer and wine license and supposedly have a menu thursday through sunday that is different then what they offer in the store. they have a working kitchen in the back. i have never tried the table service. i think the new owners tried to change the food offerings to cater to more of the "neighborhood" not just the "expensive high rise" cliental. at this point it doesn't know what it is.....

Iron Tomato - White Plains

I can shed some light on the empty shelves and bedraggled look in the front of the store. I spoke to one of the owners (two brothers own it) and he told me they are in the midst of changing the front section and knocking down the wall where the fresh veggies are and they are putting in a full fledged bakery.

In White Plains...

I walked past the Mamaroneck Avenue location the other day. The sign is up and it looks like it might be opening soon. Looking forward to trying it out.

Help--Jury Duty in White Plains

Camille's Cafe on Bank Street. Nice casual for wraps and sandwiches and on mamaroneck avenue a few blocks from the court house there are plenty of choices for a quick meal.

In White Plains...

I thought so too. Imagine the confusion.

In White Plains...

Yes. that is what I'm saying. The one by McDonalds has a sign on the outside saying Lola's bar and restaurant (that is the Dominican one) and the one on the corner of East Post is supposed to be Lola's Mexican Kitchen (there is one in Stamford)

In White Plains...

That makes sense. I heard they are putting a Lola's Mexican restaurant in the same space as Butterfield 8. Supposedly they are splitting the space that was the old FedEx store into these two new places. There is also a Lola's opening at the end of Post Road where a sporting goods store used to be. There is a big sign that says coming soon Lola's. I was told that is a Dominican restaurant (I can't swear to that). Confusing. I guess we have to wait and see when they open...The same group that owns Butterfield 8 took over Eclisse on Post Road and it is now Mulberry Street. It seems as though this one group is expanding their empire into White Plains.

In White Plains...

LOL. I know. It is getting a bit ridiculous....

In White Plains...

Found out that "Butterfield 8" is the name of the bar and restaurant that will be going into the space next to Haiku on Mamaroneck Avenue. There is a Butterfield 8 in Connecticut.

In White Plains...

I saw the sign. I didn't realize they were open.

In White Plains...

someone told me dominican.

In White Plains...

I think there is a mexican and another pub going in on mamaroneck avenue on the corner of post road next door to Haiku

In White Plains...

I agree. We need variety. A nice casual french bistro would be lovely too.

In White Plains...

There is a restaurant called Lol's on Post Road which will be opening soon.
Eclisse is gone and is now a italian pasta/pizza restaurant called Mullberry's.

WORD ON STREET for former Lemontree/Ye Old Tollgate Site--Mamaroneck

I had heard the car wash rumor also but I don't think they were able to get zoning for it I heard that it was going to be a steak house again....

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

Just found out there is a facebook page for Mulberry Street Brick Oven Pizza. Says website coming soon.

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

I just looked at open table and you're right it does take you to Eclisse's menu Maybe Par still owns it but thought a name change would help. It's hard to keep up with these restaurants. When he reopened Eclisse as Mediterranean it didn't work, then he changed the menu to family style italian and kept the name Eclisse. I guess only time will tell what this new incarnation is...

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

i heard new owners but can't swear to it.

Two Lolas

I heard that there are going to be two restaurants called Lola's in White Plains. One is on Post Road and is a Dominican restaurant and the other one will be on the corner or Mamaroneck Avenue and Post Road (next to Haiku) and that will also be a Lola's but Mexican....

Eclisse - White Plains - Gone

I passed by Eclisse in White Plains earlier and noticed that even though the sign is still on the building there is a new menu in the window with a new name called Mulberry. Looks like a pizza/italian restaurant. I would have gone in but they were not open for lunch.

Eclisse didn't last very long....

Noodle Shop in White Plains
