Egg and Things is the only quality Camarillo breakfast spot.

My suggestion is Hedar Baba in Pasadena.

In Munich, try Restaurant Donisl directly on the Marienplatz. Great beer, great food.

Ron Peskin is an (expletive deleted), but the place is a slice of home for any self respecting New Yorker. Of course stuff happens anywhere but it is a darn sight better then the one in T.O. and anything else I know.

I eat at Old Vienna once a week (Wednesday evenings if you want to say Guten Abend) and it is far from a fossil.

I just had mine out three weeks ago and my treat was Brents for Chicken Soup.
My first real meal was Sushi (more accurate, Sashimi).

How's is my default boar's head store. That is the draw for me, the non-chef.

I have been a big fan of this place for a long time, however my last two meals there, about three months apart were progressively worse. The meat in the Shashlik that I has was over cooked and slightly off, the veggies were boiled beyond recognition and the best thing I could say was the Hummas was OK. I really want to like this place as I have had so many good meals there over the years, but bad is bad.

Suggestion for a post graduation dinner on a Saturday afternoon?
We were thinking of Wood Ranch but with two veggie eaters on board, we were hoping for something less meat oriented.

I have been going to Suehiro's since before they were on 1st street. They used to be on 2nd. When I first arrived in L.A. from NYC I needed a late night place...there they were!

Regarding the alcohol, if they are not Halal, it would not be out of the question.

Jollibee is the Filipino McDonald's. Many locations around the southland.

Brent's new location has TV's in the bar area. I am not really warming to this place, but it is there!

Vancouver, best Dim Sum without a doubt. I lived in Hong Kong and there were times I think all the best chef's went to B.C! But as this was about San Diego, I liked none of the places, China Max least of all.

Old Vienna in Ventura (they have a website with directions). German owned and operated, good food and not fancy. BTW the place in the SGV is LONG gone and was so-so at best when it was around.

In Munich I always try to have one meal at Donisl on the Marianplatz.
If you have the time, drive down to Klais near Garmisch-P for a meal at the Sonnenhof.
