Looking for unique and delicious places Hello - I'll be traveling to Las Vegas from LA and am looking for restaurant recs. I'm really looking for something different from what I can get in LA so I'm thinking I don't want ethnically focused restaurants unless it's a really unique place. I normally love ALL ethnic food but I think LA has so much delicious ethnic food that it would have to be truly different for me to travel for. I don't really have too many restrictions other than I'm looking for something that's not prevalent to LA. Thanks. |

Recs for food gifts to bring back from Las Vegas Hi all - I was just wondering if anyone could recommend something food related to bring back from Las Vegas as a gift. Any bakeries that are really different (not the standard French bakery as we have access to some great ones in my city)? Thanks. |

Creative breakfast dishes in LA Hello - I know there are tons of postings on breakfast but I have a slightly different search. While I like traditional breakfast dishes, I also really like finding new breakfast/brunch dishes that you can't find at every single restaurant. What places have different and delicious dishes or place a creative spin on traditional dishes? Thanks. |

First Birthday Party Locations Hi - I was wondering if anyone could recommend a location for a first birthday party - particularly in the Grove area but willing to go further. The guests will be adults and children 1 or younger. We would like there to be cocktails available to the adults. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

I recently tried this place. I thought the crust was excellent. I loved the chicken sausage pizza and thought it was very flavorful. The margherita was good but not as flavorful, in my opinion, as the chicken sausage pizza. I personally would probably try the other pizzas on the menu before ordering the margherita again. I plan on returning. |

Anyone have a favorite place for the above? Thanks. |

I would love to hear people's favorite places for egg twist rolls. Thanks. |

Visiting Seattle - Looking for Bakeries Hello - I'm looking for bakery recommendations. While I do like the classics, I'm looking for places that are a bit different (as well as delicious) in terms of the recipes - stuff you can't find in any bakery. All recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I am looking for recommendations for brunch. The quality of the food is (obviously) important but also looking for good brunch drinks (and the more variety, the better). Apart from that, there's no real restrictions. Thanks. |

Looking for bakeries in Philly I will be visiting Philadelphia and would love to get some bakery recommendations. I love traditional bakeries but also want to know if there are any bakeries with great things I can't find other places. Thanks! |

Vanilla in Santa Monica has probably the most beautiful mini cupcakes I've seen. They taste pretty good although they are not my favorite tastewise. |

REVIEW: ANISETTE, ANOTHER VIEW Do they have any pasta dishes on their menu? Thanks. |

Forgive the vague description. When my husband and I were in Tahiti, we had this dish which I can only describe as a fried coconut ball. My husband loved them and I am trying to track them down in LA. If anyone knows what these are called or where I can find them, I'd be very appreciative. If you don't know exactly what I'm talking about, but you are familiar with a similar dish, I would love to know where that can be found too. Thanks. |

Sorry, yes my topic was very broad. The better to get a lot of places. I'm in West Hollywood. Will travel for food though. |

Hi - where would be a good place to get the above? Thanks. |

I'm interested in getting the names of good cafe markets throughout LA - places along the lines of Joan's on Third - thanks. |

I am going to be in Gaithersburg for some time. I was hoping to get suggestions for all sorts of restaurants (everything from holes in the wall to fine dining, from delis to different ethnic foods) in the area. Thanks. |

It was priced that way on the menu (hot dog and fries together) - which made me think it was permanent. |

Just went there for the first time today and I really don't disagree too much with what others are saying. I really enjoyed the hot dog and it definitely seemed higher quality than what you get at other places. I got a chili dog and while I DID like it, I agree that the chili is different than what you usually get on a chili dog. One thing, the fries appear to come with the hot dog - they do not charge you separately for them. I would definitely go back and want to try some of the other items on the menu. |

What are good Breakfast Spots West of Fairfax I was hoping to get a range of breakfast places with the only limit being on geography. Thanks. |
