Best Inner Harbor Tourist Trap
Blue Sea Grill is very close to the Inner Harbor --it's a sit down restaurant owned and operated by the local Ruth's Chris group. Gorgeous place, and I have had good luck there. More upscale/pricey than Mamas, etc -- depends on what you are looking for.

Looking for great chow-ish places in Ocean City, MD
I know this is late, but....
For pizza, absolutely agree re Lombardi's --- hands down. ALso great cheesestaeks subs.
For a real meal --- Chowish worthy --- Ristorante Antipasti --- or Fausto's -- both from the same owner/chef --- authentic Norhtern Italian cuisine with a real chef in the ktichen. Wonderful specials --- fresh seafodd, hoem amde pasta, the works. Service is knowledagble, even when done by the usual summer kids from wherever - they are well trained. These places are true gems; would be worhty anywhere, even more so in O.C. If Fausto is in the hosue, seek his advice if he is available. Have not been to the newly open brick oven pizza on boardwalk.

Baltimore Fish Market
Faidley's, Nick's and Franks are all excellet -- can't go wrong with any of them. Have heard good things about the Broadaway market place, but no personal experience. Frank's is where many of the local restaurants purchase their seafood inventory.
Old Town Alexandria --- Please Help
Hi – I have to say I love this site – been reading and lurking but hope to contribute. I live in Baltimore --- am meeting someone in Old Town Alexandria Saturday for a first date. We have gotten to know each other very well, so it’s dinner, not just drinks.
Looking for an appropriate venue that allows for conversation with at least some romance and ambience. Cuisine wise, we both like French (country/bistro as opposed to real heavy traditional sauce like) , Northern Italian (not a red sauce joint), or fresh seafood.
She lives in the area but hasn’t been there lately. She mentioned 219, which looks as if it has the ambience, but can’t find much on the food, and she has not been there in years. . It has a bonus in live music --- which we will look for afterward, if tings go well, but I understand that there are many places in the area that may offer that – meaning the dining venue does not have to also have music / entertainment --- we can certainly walk after dinner!
Comments, suggestions welcome. For what it’s worth, we are middle aged first daters. Price not a particular factor, although over the top very expensive not what we’d be looking for this time.
Anyone Been to Bocaccios's Recently?
HI all - I'm new here, but love what I see and hope to contribute. Bocaccio's had long been my Litle Italy favorite - don't like the red sauce joints. Was there a few months back, though, and the food was quite disappoinitng. Service was as good as ever, and I love the atmosphere. I have been to La Scala several times recently; the food was outstanding and the renovatons have done wonders. I have an important date Friday - she wants Little Italy and while I am tempted to return to La Scala, just been there too much lately. I'm hoping my last visit to Bocaccios's was an anomaly, but thought I'd see if any one here can shed some light. Tempted to try CInghiale, but seems too noisy for what I'm looking for. Thanx for your help.
