2 Nights in Vegas

Great call on the three square but unfortunately we will be there one week early. Thanks to all have supplied input.

2 Nights in Vegas

Group. We will be in Vegas for Thur. and Fri. nights at the end of the month and wanted some recommendations for Italian and Steakhouse dinners. We have been to Pieros and Stratta for Italian, and Craft, Lawrys, Golden Steer and SW Steakhouse previously. We are big believers in trying new places while in Vegas as the food scene is so immense.
We are willing to spend up to 100 pp prior to beverage charges.
On a side note, at that price are we missing a better opportunity at say a tasting menu? The only twist is that we are from the Pacific Northwest so seafood is of zero importance to us as we get that here already.
Thanks for any input and happy eating.

Ellensburg WA- where to eat (lunch/din)?

Starlight Lounge is the best restaurant in town. It's on Pearl and about 4th ave.

Herb Farm New Chef?

I have not been to the Herb Farm since Jerry left, but he is opening his own restaurant downtown this summer. Might be worth it to wait for that, and I guarantee the price tag won't be so steep.

Eastside Envy

kirkj,
I was trying to get some thoughts on Eastside dinng for foodies as many of the posts focus on DT Sea. I will be trying both Yea's and Szechuan Chef soon. Thanks.

Eastside Envy

It seems that most of the discussions focus on the downtown Seattle scene. Lynn's bistro, Rikki Rikki and Bis on main can all hold their own. Any other votes for good eastside joints?

New Discoveries

Thanks Ms Foodie.I know my post is a little vague, just not sure how else to phrase the question. I HAVE NOT been to the restaurants you mentioned and look forward to adding them to our list.

New Discoveries

I am a long time Seattleite and have been to most of the standard Seattle icon restaurants. I am currently building a list of new (at least new to me) eateries that I must check out over the spring/summer months with a group of commited foodies. Nothing highly pretentious or necessarily fancy, just newer spots providing new experiences. So far my list includes: Txori, Harvest vine, How to cook a wolf, Tilth, Trellis, Coupage, 94 Stewart, Asteroid ristorante, Tamarind tree, and La Dolce Vida. I would like some help with rounding out the list with some insights from fellow chow hound members. Thanks in advance for any insights provided.
