Looking for a place to get good, fresh chicken or turkey sausage in the Metrowest Area - Framingham/Marlborough area prefered. Would like something other than pre-cooked sausage for grilling this weekend.

Homemade Marshmallows - Shelf Life?

Planning on making homemade marshmallows as Christmas gifts and was wondering how long they really stay fresh? Can I make them 2-3 weeks in advance?

Greenport

Going to be staying in Greenport in a couple of weeks. One member of our group is vegetarian. Looking for a good restaurant that will please her as well as the meat eaters in the group. Would love it to be in walking distance of the Greenporter Inn but that is not a requirement.

What would you recommend?

Tasty Burger before a Sox game

We were there Monday night and were able to get a table without a problem around 5:30ish. At times there were lines but tables seemed to free up quickly and there was room at the bar.

Where can I buy Quebec wines in the Boston area--preferably North Shore area?

If you have a specific wine in mind, I would email the winery and find out if they even distribute in Massachusetts. If they do, they should be able to give you the name of the distributor and then you can find where it is sold.

Recos for large party in Harvard, Ayer, Acton, Clinton etc?

Gibbet Hill in Groton could handle a group that size if you use their function room which is very nice. May be a bit pricy though.

Not sure Chloe's Bistro could do it unless they were willing to shut the restaurant to the public that night.

Don't think you'd get sushi or anything asian at Old Timers in Clinton.

If you're willing to drive to Clinton you should check out Via Alto 27. http://www.ristoranteviaalto27.com/

The Bull Run in Shirley has different size function rooms that would work for the size. Haven't eaten there in years so not sure what the menu is like these days.

Thirty One Main in Ayer can hold that size group if they are closed to the public and the food is good.

Gluten Free Baking Mix

I need to make a gluten free cake for a friend. I want to use my favorite carrot cake recipe. I noticed that both Bob's Mills and King Arthur have a gluten free baking mix - is one better than the other?

thanks

Sedona

We are going to be there on a Sunday - Easter Sunday in fact. Didn't realize that when we made our original plans. Will definitely look into Heartline Cafe. My sister mentioned going for a drink at the Enchantment Resort (?) for the views - is it worth it? We're staying at the Orchards Inn on 89a. Have never been so not sure of how close anything is. After being on a plane all morning and then the drive from Phoenix to Sedona - would love to be able to walk to dinner, etc.

Sedona

Going to be in Sedona for one night - where would you recommend we have dinner? Looking for something moderately priced - don't want to break the bank given it's the first night of a week's vacation.

Thanks

Japanese in the Marlboro MA area??

Shiro's in Berlin - does anyone know if this place is still open? If it is, has anyone been there lately. I remember it as having really slow service but the food was very good.

Any other suggestion for Japanese in the Area?

Thanks!!

Dinner suggestions in/around Ayer?

Check out Gibbet Hill in Groton. Some of the entrees may be over the $20 mark but the food is great and always fresh. Lovely grounds. Definitely worth the price.
