Pretty much whatever my wife is cooking. Oh, you mean in a restaurant? That would be a special dinner arranged by Macmillan Publishing Co. years ago at Charlie Trotter's. Multiple courses each with a special wine pairing. Really exceptional.
My current drink of choice:
What are you pouring?
I really wish I could:
Travel to Vietnam and eat the soups each day at the Lunch Lady in Saigon.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Tater Tots wrapped in bacon (and yes, I'm going to hell)
My favorite comfort food:
Pho, soups in general, and homemade ice cream
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
as of 3/16/2010: Marumi Sushi (Plantation), Saigon Cuisine (Margate), Bangkok Plalce (Lauderdale Lakes), Taqueria Dona Raquel (Pompano), al-Salam Mediterranean Restaurant & Grocery (Plantation)
My most tattered cookbooks:
Cradle of Flavor: Home Cooking from the Spice Islands of Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia; Dinosaur Bar-B-Que: An American Roadhouse; New England Soup Factory Cookbook
