Any good sushi in Arlington/Falls Church

My husband and i HAVE traveled to Japan- several times during the past 3 years. While there are only a handful of local sushi restaurants we consider, we find Hooked Seafood and Sushi in Sterling consistently fresh and innovative. They have a new roll that has a large chunk of jumping lump crab on top that is truly outstanding. Their traditional sushi is of generous portions. Would recommend the fresh wasabi. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the dc area. We also would recommend matsu and sushi taro if you're closer to dc. Enjoy!

My favorite place used to be Suhi Ko until I ate at Hooked in Sterling. I lived in Japan for about 2 years and haven't found anything close to the quality since i discovered this little gem while out in the burbs.

Hooked, in Sterling, VA. Always very fresh seafood and the sushi is probably the best in the DC area.

Boyfriend's Birthday Dinner

Hey Sarah,

No WAY should you attempt the madness at Hook. Def not romantic, and the service is pathetic. I've tried it 3 times, and it's just a shame. If you are thinking georgetown and want much better food/service, try Sea Catch or Black Salt! I'd also suggest Bras Beck if you wanted downtown. Not a lot of choices up your way.
