I am looking for a really good gourmet burger. Good meat, fresh toppings, bun that is steamed on the grill with the burger. Price is not an issue. Let me know whats around.

I used to eat at this place as a kid before I moved. I just came back into the area and I heard the prices have gone up. Please let me know if it is still worth the visit.

Looking for the best spots to hit up after going out at night. My friends and I usually make the rounds at local asian joints, but I am looking to diversify our drunken intake. Any style of cuisine welcome from taco shops to high end. All of LA.

I am new to the area. I am looking for the most authentic Philly cheesestaek in town. I heard that it has to be with cheese wiz but I dont know for sure. Please someone educate me on what makes it authentic and where I can get my chubby little digits around one.

I am from Hawaii. So please dont anyone tell me L&L, because that place is terrible. I hope nobody is judging Hawaiian food on the quality of these places. I am looking for a hole in the wall, non-franchise place where the food is made to order. If there is nothing around I guess I have to suffer, but if anyone knows of a little gem I would greatly appreciate the reccomendation. Plate lunch consists of many different options of meat or seafood along with homemade macaroni salad and rice. PLease someone come to the rescue.

I have found "TERES" on melrose to have a decent burrito similar to SD. Also "Cactus taco shop" on Vine was pretty good.

I recently moved to LA from San Diego, home of the California burrito and Carne Asada fries. I get a mouthgasm just thinking about them. I was severly dissapointed to find that there is such a difference in Mexican food from there to here. Please anyone... let me know where to start my quest on finding a burrito that will satisfy my craving. Please if you have never been to a taco shop like the ones in San Diego, don't reply.
