Dinning Mid week lunch for large group Santa Fe?

Santacafe has a nice interior, and their food is decent, but not the best in town.

Cafe Pasqual's is probably too small for a group of your size.

I would recommend the restaurant at the Inn of the Anasazi, The Shed (more casual), or La Casa Sena (which has a gorgeous outdoor seating area).

Delicious Dives in Santa Fe?

I would recommend Harry's Roadhouse. I love their turkey enchiladas, and their prices are very reasonable. It can get crowded, but with two people you can usually get seated really fast. Los Portillos, the Shed and La Choza are also really good. I drive by Adelita's all the time, but have never tried it. It appears similar in caliber to Los Portillos from the outside.

I agree that you should skip Tomasita's!

A couple of Santa Fe questions

Not sure if your visit has come and gone, but here are some suggestions:

Brunch
I would highly recommend Chocolate Maven. It's a bout a 5 minute drive from the Plaza off Saint Francis Drive, and is tucked into a strip of rough-looking industrial warehouse space. The inside is very cute, however, and the food is absolutely delicious. The menu includes everything from quiche to pancakes to traditional migas. My husband and I go for lunch and brunch often and are never disappointed. You could definitely go around 1:00. Guadalupe Cafe has a pretty outdoor seating area, but we found the food pretty bland. The coffee, however, was great!

Dinner
We recently tried both Mauka and Aqua Santa for the first time. Both were excellent. Mauka opened earlier this year on Agua Fria near Ristra. Very clean decor, great service and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Aqua Santa has a really great vibe, and the open kitchen is fun to watch. The food was innovative and yummy.

Coffee
I agree that Ecco is a great coffee shop. It's on E. Marcy Street across from the library.

Pork Tenderloin with Salsa Verde

(Novice here, I apologize in advance) I'm a bit confused about the butterfly instructions after the initial slice down the center. Do you make a slice along the outside of each half? Do you open those flaps at all?
