Best meal I ever ate:

At Tea House, Bono's restaurant in Dublin. He stole the chef from a restaurant in London. The food was so good I felt like I'd been drugged! Started with a mushroom lasagna (mushroom-infused sauce, no tomato). Main course was sea bass with a side of spinach, onions and beets (things I usually never eat but they were amazing here). For dessert there was a choice between a trio of chocolate desserts and a trio of apple ones. I couldn't decide so I got both! :)

I really wish I could:

Have more kitchen awareness and be better at cooking without relying on recipes.

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Spanish theme: Gambas al Ajillo over rice with a side of sauteed spinach, raisins and pine nuts.

My favorite comfort food:

No question - Mac and cheese...with cheeseburger & fries coming in a very close second.

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

1. Quince 2. TWO 3. Garibaldi's 4. Capannina 5. Bar Jules Those 5 are at home. I also love Kenichi in Austin, TX. Don't know where they get their fish from, but it's among the best sushi I've ever had. Also love L'Atelier Joel Robuchon.
