Good Eats near Winston-Salem

I'm going to have to disagree. Sysco is neither "local", nor "fresh". And the service is just laughable.

Where to buy stone crabs - Hollywood

I bought larges at Pen Dutch on monday for $10.99 a pound.

Authentic Mexican Food in Broward?

Best I've found is the smaller of the two taco stands at the Swap Shop (West side, by the farmer's market). Last I was there, I had the best tamale I've eaten since I lived in LA. It had an entire drumstick in it! Plus, the people watching cannot be beat.

Roti shops - Ft. Lauderdale area

Love Rams, but I think it's called Jam Style, now. Curried goat is stellar, and the proprietor is just the warmest, most wonderful guy. I try to make it there a couple of times a month. It's also in the same (seedy) shopping center as 2 (!) asian markets, so it's a great destination.

So. Fl Traditional Sukiyaki Search

I'll be watching this with you! Haven't been able to find one, and have been VERY disappointed a couple of times. Can't find good Shabu Shabu, either.

Korean Restaurants/Markets in Broward/Miami areas

There is a Korean market on 441 just north of Hollywood Blvd. I can't read the name, it's in Korean ;). The sign does say Asian Market, though.

seeking restaurants in key largo,fl area

You might try Gilbert's. I loooove the place. There's a tiki bar with one menu, and a raw bar, and there's a more formal restaurant that I've never tried. The place is just south of Jewfish Creek. The yellowtail ceveche is the best I've had.

Korean BBQ in Miami

I thought about it when there were no cars in the lot, too. I should have. Next time.

Korean BBQ in Miami

We ate at Kyung Ju friday. I was not terribly impressed. They also do the butane stove on the table, which kinda sucks, and I thought the bulgogi marinade was out of a bottle, and bland. The server was really sweet and on the ball, so that was good. I really prefer Japan Hill, in Broward.

Two Bills Seafood - Dania Beach

I found it! It's just off Griffin Rd, on 44th, just east of 441. It really is like the islands. You drive down this little street with boat salvage yards, and you get to the end, and there's crab traps stacked up, and all sorts of stuff to look at. I bought a beautiful strawberry grouper. I'm afraid I didn't do it justice, but I'll try again this week. I have a new favorite fishmonger. The guys that work there were very cool, and it was just a fun experience.

Grampa's Bakery and Restaurant. Dania Beach

If you like your scrambled eggs to bounce like a superball, and your bacon floppy, this is the joint for you. Ick.

Two Bills Seafood - Dania Beach

Where exactly is this place?

Casa Bella in Dania Beach, FL?

I live quite close to Casa Bella, and ate there for the first (and only) time a couple of years back. I found the food to be even less than mediocre. My steak au poivre smelled EXACTLY like beef & broccolli from cheap chinese delivery. That being said, the service was some of the best I've ever encountered in SoFl. Everyone was so attentive, and just plain nice, I very well might go back for a second chance.

Best Food to be Found in Ft. Lauderdale

The Field has gone down, so so badly! It used to be a once a week spot for me, but no more, I just get depressed. The last few times I ate there, the service was almost non-existant, and the food was too salty, or overcooked, or cold. Fish and chips are not good cold.
