Best meal I ever ate:
There have been many... but a couple of standouts - a simple pasta dish with rose sauce in a small town outside of Florence; and an amazing kaiseki served in a Japanese ryokan.
My current drink of choice:
Tea - all different kinds.
I really wish I could:
be paid to travel around the world to taste, cook and learn about different cuisines.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
is always changing.
My favorite comfort food:
Carbs - pho, pasta, udon, congee...
My most tattered cookbooks:
The Gourmet Cookbook by Ruth Reichl
