Clover coffee in Las Vegas?

Does anyone know if there is a coffee shop in Las Vegas with a Clover coffee machine?

Thanks!

Capital View Café MSP

We recently enjoyed breakfast at the Capital View Café on Smith Street in Saint Paul.

I was surprised that there are no threads mentioning it (that I could find). As far as diner food goes, it was excellent. My husband had the breakfast burrito, which was smothered in a green chili gravy sauce and topped with cheddar. The side of refried beans was delicious. I enjoyed the "Norm Coleman" which was a kosher salami and cheddar omelet, served with hashbrowns and a bagel and cream cheese. Prices were also reasonable, $8-9 for most breakfast specialties, and portions were huge.

Best places to eat and buy ramps (MSP)

I found them at Mississippi Market on Wednesday of this week, but yesterday (Saturday) it appeared that they were out.

I need apple strudel - MSP

They serve it at The Glockenspiel in Saint Paul. I don't eat dessert often, so I haven't had it myself.

Japanese Knife Sharpening - Twin Cities

We also go to Masters Edge, near the U.

I recently tried the homemade chips (along with another shrimp roll) and the chips were just ok. I don't eat a lot of potato chips but I think I like thick cut kettle chips a little better.

Next I will try the hummus-- the table next to me had it, and it looked great.

Friends raved about the Carrot and Ginger soup, but they were not offering it the last time I visited.

Just got back from Ngon Bistro - MSP

We recently had some small plates-- the tempura walleye, curried duck, and pork belly.

The pork belly small plate was to.die.for amazing. I could eat that at every meal. What a steal for only $5 during happy hour!

MSP Fish Fry: perch or blue gill?

We finally got to the Red Stag, had the double perch and the double blue gill. My husband was in heaven!

Their coleslaw was the best I have ever had. I wonder what the secret ingredients are...

Bun Mi - Stadium Village [MSP]

Walked past today-- the paper is down from the windows, but it doesn't look too close to opening. It seemed like they were still moving in the kitchen equipment.

I have tried the pot roast sandwich, the Cuban sandwich, the shrimp roll, the coleslaw and the pickles.

The pickles are delicious, highly recommended.

The pot roast sandwich was delicious but definitely needed at least double the horseradish sauce, couldn't taste it really.

The Cuban was just ok.

The Shrimp Roll was delicious and my favorite so far.

The coleslaw desperately needed salt... probably wouldn't order it again for $2.50.

I saw them making the chips and would like to try them.

Great beer selection, ok wine selection, and soda is only $1.25. I love the complimentary cucumber water (lemon water also available).

Love the decor and the service. I'll be back often!

[MSP] Who serves marrow?

I was just at the Red Stag about 10 days ago, and I swear I saw it on the menu. I would try calling them.

MKE TO MSP CORRIDOR I-90 & I-94

Norske Nook was my first thought too. It's 2/3-3/4 of the way through your drive.

MSP - The Strip Club

We had excellent service there again two weeks ago. The waiter was really great, and when he saw it was my birthday (when checking my ID, I didn't mention it), he brought over limoncellos for me, my husband, and himself to celebrate at the end of our dinner. I have only had great service there, including the chef (JD) stopping by my table 3 of the 4 times.

Do get a reservation, regardless of the day of week you will be dining.

MSP - The Strip Club

I appreciated your review and hope you do try it again. The eggs are great-- definitely order them again (and hopefully you'll actually receive them next time)!

MSP - The Strip Club

I am sorry you had a so-so experience. We have been to TSC four times and had fantastic experiences each time. It sounds like your server was preoccupied with the other party, which of course is unaccceptable, but luckily not the norm.

Did you say anything to your server about the quality of your entree?

Is your husband accustomed to grass-fed beef? It does taste quite different.

LOBSTER and/or LOBSTER TAIL-MSP

We bought cold water lobster tail from Kowalski's (frozen) for New Year's Eve, and it was absolutely delicious. I would do so again.

MSP: West 7th Neighborhood/St. Paul

We have been to Glockenspiel a number of times. We enjoy their German food--their Friday fish fry is just ok,I don't think it's worth the price. The sauerkraut and bratwurst are excellent. My German grandmother gave the sauerbraten a compliment, and she would only approve something authentic.

Avoid it on a Friday during Lent. It's crazy crowded for the fish fry.

twin cities sports bars- march madness

Where in the Cities does your daughter live?

Has anyone been to the Blue Door in St. Paul?

I personally think the food at the Happy Gnome is not great, so I have to disagree with the above poster.

We love the Blue Door. We've been there 4 times already. I HIGHLY recommend the Breakfast Blucy with cajun tots.

The only downside is the wait, but then again it's more time to enjoy the fabulous beer list.

MSP - Daytime bar stops?

Sweeney's, Muddy Pig, and Happy Gnome are all in the same general area... we like all three.

Have fun!

MSP- moto-i

Thanks for the report. We have been there twice, but only for sake and appetizers, and we also enjoyed the buns.

CSAs - Big boxes of veggies all summer long - MSP

We also chose our farm (Hog's Back Farm) due to pickup location, but we've really enjoyed our 3 seasons with them. They also have chicken and egg shares available.
I am very happy with my selection, especially when compared to friends' CSA boxes from other farms.
We pick up the box about 4 blocks from our home.
Our farm does not offer half shares, but you can easily split it with a friend or family member.
I would highly recommend the CSA, unless you go to the farmers market weekly. If you do the latter, I would not sign up for the former.

Small Plates at the Strip Club - MSP

Good to know! We're heading back there next week for our third visit. It's become our favorite local place.

Bun Mi - Stadium Village [MSP]

Yep, it's near the hospital and Big 10.
Here is their website-- I work right near there and can't wait to try it!

[MSP] Blue Door Pub

"My other big gripe is that we were told the burgers come with regular fries, but for an extra $1.75 you can get hand-cut fries or tater tots. "

I don't think this is true. I don't think they have "regular fries." The only fries they have are hand-cut (and awesome). We also thought the tater tots were good-- they aren't anything too special, but they are tater tots. I thought they were much crispier than any I could make at home.

[MSP] Blue Door Pub

We visited the Blue Door last week and really enjoyed it. We had one luau lucy (stuffed with mozzarella and pineapple, topped with Canadian bacon), one pizza lucy, and one bacon lucy. They were all delicious, although it was mentioned that next time a lucy topped with bacon would provide more bacon deliciousness than the bacon-stuffed lucy.

We had fries, tater tots, and the battered green beans. All were delicious.

We also had spam bites to try something new-- spam, cream cheese, and pickles, battered and fried. Very good and definitely something different!

Prices were reasonable, service was great although it was really crowded. We'll be back.

MSP: need recommendations for dinner on a Monday

I can't believe I have never been to The Signature Cafe! We will definitely head there soon. I used to live right near there my first year of grad school (which, ahem, was awhile ago). The menus look fantastic!

Thanks for the recommendation.

MSP: need recommendations for dinner on a Monday

Thank you!

We are very relaxed diners, but thank you for the service report on Craftsman. It's been on our list for awhile, and we'd really like to try it soon.

I think Craftsman and Forepaugh's both look great. I will show my husband the menus and see if he has an opinion (but of course this future Dr. gets the final say!)

MSP: need recommendations for dinner on a Monday

WA Frost is very nice but it's another place we've been to multiple times, and multiple times with our dining companions. I do love it, though!

MSP: need recommendations for dinner on a Monday

Thank you TDQ! I will look at the Signature Cafe.
Have you been to Forepaugh's?
