NYC Bachelorette Party - 30 Girls
Planning a bacheloretty party for my best friend for about 25-30 girls. We have Friday night covered but need help with Saturday night dinner. We are all from NY (born and bred) but need help securing a restaurant that can accomodate this size group. Some thoughts are Bagatelle and Alta. We would love some sort of private like room and a prix-fix menu is always a plus. Thanks in advance!
Eleven Madison Park - Tasting Menu or 3-Course
My boyfriend and I are heading to EMP tonight for a late Valentines Day Dinner. As an avid Chowhound reader, I have been looking forward to this meal for weeks! My only trepidation is about which menu to order, the 3-Course Prix Fix ($88) or the 'Taste of Winter Menu' ($125). While I know I will be completely satisfied with either choice, I was wondering if the tasting menu was much better or differnt.
Any advice would be great and thank you all in advance!
Inexpensive dinner for big group around chelsea/wvill/les/soho etc?
Went for a friends birthday to Bar Stuzzichini (Broadway between 21st and 22nd) this past weekend. We were a group of 12 girls and it came to 55pp (that was with avg 2 drinks a person). Bar Stuzzichini doesnt always get the best threads but the food, atmopshere and service was great. I hightly recommend it for your group!
Nice anniversary dinner on a college budget?
I recommend Giorgios of Gramercy (21 btw Park and Bway). Great food, cozy and romantic atmosphere!
Mini-burgers with my Mini-me
Ted's Montana Grill on 50th and sixth has great sliders. They come as either Bison or regular beef and are served on biscuits.
They're great!!
Surprise Birthday Dinner - 16 People (30th birthday)
Sala 19 has a great pre-set menu for $60 a person that includes sangria, beer and wine, unlimited for 2 hours. I had my birhtday at Calle Ocho, they have an amazing round table in a semi-private room that would accoumdate 16 people, they also can make a set menu and the food was great!
Fun, hip sushi place
Order in from Amber a few weeks back, I ordered a spicy tuna and a king crab roll, and it was not good. The crab was definitly better than the tuna but I couldnt even finish the roll!
EMP, Passon, Perilla....need comments on my shortlist!
Went to Perilla last week and had a wonderful dinner! The duck meatballs, porkbelly and Fiddlehead Fern Raviloi were amazing!!
Also, went to Perry St for lunch and I highly recommned making a stop there! One of the best meals I have had in a while!!!
Mom's 50th Birthday
My Mom is turning 50 on a Wednesday in July. We are doing a total "girls" day with a great lunch and then meeting the men for dinner and then maybe to a rooftop bar. For lunch, if its a nice day, I was thinking of Perry St. and for dinner maybe Gotham Bar and Grill. I am totally open to any suggestions and would love to spend both meals outside and definitely would love recommendations for a rooftop bar...Thanks!!!
Best Salad in NYC
Actually ordered from Libretto's, I believe it is on 3rd between 36 &37. For a pizza place, they have a great chopped salad, it was lettuce, tomatoes, roasted peppers, chick peas, kalamata olives and feta cheese with a great balsamic dressing! I highly recommend it!
Best Salad in NYC
I walk by Organique every day - now I have a reason to stop in - thanks!
Best Salad in NYC
Recently moved to the Gramercy/Murray Hill area and I am seeking out the best salads in this area, but please feel free to give me all your opinions on salad throughout Manhattan. I have eaten at all the typical lunch salad places, Chop't, Tossed, Just Salad, Cosi etc., while these places are satifying for a quick lunch, they dont really make the cut for dinner food fare...please share your thoughts.
Thanks!!

Graduation from UMD - Need a restaurant
Just a small group of 5 people. Basically eat anything that is not too crazy (very ethnic food), enjoy Italian, Steakhouse, American, Continental, Mexican, Asian. Its for the celebration of her graduation so price may not be as much as issue.
Thanks!
