Farm group dining?

I'm looking to host a party with my friends. I had heard about a farm around Austin that does this for groups. My group is about 12 or so. Anyone know of a place that does this?

Place to Watch Saints / Dallas Game & Eat Dinner Sat. Night

I won't recommend this for you since you are up north. But If I wasn't going to my friends for the game I would go Red's Porch on S. Lamar. It's huge, new with a rather expansive menu.

I agree they are too dry. However you can ask for your burger medium and I find it MUCH better. It won't take any longer either, unlike Mighty Fine.

El Greco

I have not been there, but i just had the pleasure of eating some of the good. My boss just showed up with a few boxes. Potatoes, lamb chops and some green beans. The lamb chops with the yogurt dip was fantastic, very high quality well spiced. the potatoes are very tasty but somewhat soggy, however i have found that to be typical of greek potatoes. The green's were way overcooked but still had a nice taste.

It's a shame to hear they are so expensive, still i hope to go there for dinner with my wife, she has been craving some pastichio and i hear theirs is quite good.

Parkside at 6th and San Jacinto - Did someone drop the salt shaker in my food?

I agree with the confusing menu. The separation of the "sections" seemed arbitrary. My group ordered a tasting of oysters (Wednesday night is 1/2 off), all were fantastic.

We then ordered a few other appetizers none of which i remember specifically except they were all pretty good. One that stood out as bad was the bone marrow, it came out of the bone like a limp log and had a rather off taste. For a few people it was their first experience with the dish and we had to apologies that this isn't what it should be like.

My wife and I plan to go back for dinner at some point, i hope someone at this board and point me towards what dish's particularly like.

Please don't hate me... any place to get veal bones?

I have ordered veal bones from CM, I'm not sure who you talked to, you may want to ask the service desk. You might also try longhorn meats on e. mlk, they are a real butcher shop and i've heard from cooks around town that they get them there.

Brunching on Eggs Benedict in Austin

Vespaio Enoteca is my favorite in town. I'm not sure if it under 10, it might be slightly more. Don't arrive after 1pm, it gets horrendously busy and sometimes the staff just gets overloaded.
