any good food that isn't a chain in calabasas or woodland hills

I am glad they retired. They had no personality and bordered on rude. The sandwiches were marginally good. The stuff on the shelves in the store was there for years. I had stopped going there about 5 years ago but will give the new owner a try and I agree that there is no better then Cavaretti's!

Thanks Giving Dinner Los Angeles/ Woodland Hills or within 25 miles

Thank you! We are going for sure. Made reservations for 4PM in Glendale. Looking forward to it. I called and they have their regular menu too so I can always order something else too. I think that they said the price is $14.99 this year.

Thanks Giving Dinner Los Angeles/ Woodland Hills or within 25 miles

Hello,

There are just two of us for Thanks Giving Dinner. One of use is a vegetarian and one of us wants the traditional turkey and all the fixings. We are looking for a restaurant that is moderately priced. We had heard that Mimi's Cafe was good. Any suggestions?

Bobby's - Breakfast in Woodland Hills

I read all of the wonderful things written about Bobby’s on Ventura Blvd, in Woodland Hills and I thought that I would finally give it a try. First impressions are important when dinning out. Anytime you see a restaurant with dirty windows, floors, tables and chairs is a sign. But I ignored it. I knew better but I ignored it. We were told to sit anywhere but I had to ask for the table to be wiped down, as there was syrup on it. I got attitude from the bus boy as if he was doing me a favor or I was criticizing his work.. I assure you I was polite. We were given sticky old menus. The coffee was old or just bad. The plates looked like they were bought in a second hand store and were covered with a film. I have traveled to other countries but have never seen a place that looked like it was third world or worse. The food was ok, nothing to jump for joy. Just ok. I would recommend staying away from this place and wonder if the city inspector ever really went in. yes they have an A rating but I just don’t get it. The best place in the valley to get breakfast is without a doubt The Little Café. Clean, great food, nice people and always a wait. But it is worth the wait for sure!
