Need Rec: Caterer in Marietta - Kennesaw area

Has anyone been to an event catered by The Silver Platter out of Marietta? I'd appreciate some feedback on their food and service. Thanks!

Thanks for this tip! I just called Laura. She is not available for our party but her menu does look great!

Need Rec: Caterer in Marietta - Kennesaw area

We need a full-service caterer for a holiday party at out home. About 30 people, heavy hors d'oeuvres, foodie-ish menu. Appreciate any recommendations or advice you can share. (Party is in December.)

Thanks a lot!

Been to any of these wine bars? Curious about the selection, atmosphere, and food. Thanks!

Need Rec: Great wine and really good food in North Atlanta

We just moved to Atlanta and are temporarirly staying near Perimeter Mall.

Looking for a great wine bar with reasonable prices that serves great food too. Have car but prefer not to drive too far. Nice area for strolling and window shopping would be perfect! Searched the board with no luck.

Thanks a lot.

p.s. For those who like Indian food and are close to Perimeter Mall, we found Viceroy to be excellent!

Anyone been to the new AVAM resturant? Mr Rains Funhouse...

Funny that no one on this site has been there yet. We may go on Saturday. If so, I'll report.

Need Recommendation: Baltimore Private Sunday Lunch - Ruxton to BWI

We ended up having our party at Snyders Willow Grove. The food was fine-good. Everyone was satisfied. I'm still not a fan of the atmosphere in there (and I've been in Baltimore all my life), but the event turned out nicely.

Need Recommendation: Where can I buy good pizza shells (crust)?

The pre-made crusts were pretty bad. Really bad. I wish I had thought to buy some dough balls to try another time but didn't.

Need Recommendation: Where can I buy good pizza shells (crust)?

I bought the pre-made crusts from Trinicria. Should have bought the pizza dough but I didn't think I had enought time. The pre-made crusts are not very good. Boboli crusts are much better! I also bought a frozen ziti (with sauce, cheese, etc.) which was delicious. And a jar of their puttanesca sauce and that was the best I've ever had.

Anyone been to Mr. Rain's Fun House yet? Its the new restaurant in the American Visionary Art Museum. I haven't been there yet.

Need Recommendation: Where can I buy good pizza shells (crust)?

I'd like a crust already cooked and ready to go but I'm going to stop by Trinacria tonight and try the dough ball. I'll also try their pre-made crusts. Thanks a lot for that tip!

Need Recommendation: Where can I buy good pizza shells (crust)?

We're having a pizza party and want to make our own but no time (or talent) to make the dough. Any recommendations for really good pre-made pizza shells? Downtown Baltimore or Baltimore County area.

Thanks, in advance, for any tips.

Need Recommendation: Baltimore Private Sunday Lunch - Ruxton to BWI

Thanks for all the ideas! We tried Snyders and while the atmosphere is completely NOT us, the food was pretty good. It will work. I assume since no one suggested G&M that it wouldn't be a good place for this kind of get together. We need to stay clear of downtown since there is a Raven's game at the same time. Any new ideas will be appreciated.

Looking for wine and atmosphere in Fells Point

Babysitter is on her way...
We're headed to Henningers for dinner. Any recommendations for a glass of wine in that area, I guess it's Fells Point.
Thanks!

Need Recommendation: Baltimore Private Sunday Lunch - Ruxton to BWI

I'm looking for a restaurant for private lunch after a Sunday baptism. We want our visiting guests to enjoy some good Baltimore food. Restaurant must be along the route from Ruxton to BWI so people can get to airport for afternoon flights. 15 adults and 4 kids. Would like to have a private area/room so kids can move around. Nothing too ethnic for this crowd. Italian okay. Around $25 per person. Please share your ideas. Thanks a lot!

Lasagna (to-go) close to I83

Where is the best place to get lasagna (traditional or otherwise) between downtown Baltimore and Cockeysville? I'd like to get some carry-out on Saturday evening in order to serve it for lunch at my home on Sunday (15 people).

Thanks for any ideas you can share.

Ryleigh's Oyster Bar

Ryleigh's does have highchairs. We've been seated upstairs when the downstairs is busy, plenty of room for the highchair. We have also sat downstairs at a regular table (with the highchair).

Bicycle in Baltimore or ?

Bicycle still has a very good reputation. If you are going to be in the Federal Hill area, The Wine Market is very good also, especially if you like wine. They have a wine shop there in the restaurant. If you like the food at Bicycle, you'll like The Wine Market also. Only draw-back is that The Wine Market is not an easy walking distance to shops and bars. (It does, however, have a parking lot.) Also consider a new place called Juniors. Juniors is on Charles Street, close to Cross Street so it's in the heart of Federal Hill. We've only been there once, food was very good. Menu is limited (maybe only 10 entrees) but certainly has a variety of options.
