Carmine's Asbury Park
Having been a big fan of the veal chop parmigiana served at Carmine's, last night we went and they had a special they are running Thursday's through the end of March 36 oz porterhouse with roasted potatos, broccoli rabe and ceasar salad for two for $35.00 added a bottle of wine from their $20 bottle of wine list and it becomes $50.00 the porterhouse was cooked to perfection and we couldn't finish the sides.......this was really quite a deal ... not quite a Keen's steakhouse dining experience......but a very good value and very good food.
Cape May Restaurants
I would equate the Lobster House on par with the Shrimp Box in Pt Pleasant, The Lobster Shanty, Pt Pleasant or Bahrs Landing in the Highlands if you are familiar with any other those places...kinda typical Jersey Shore seafood restaurant with avg. food, and gets absolutely packed during the summer. Is it worth a drive down just to eat there , I would suggest not..., but if you are spending time in Cape May, I would say yes....

Talk about consistent....this place has hardly changed over the years and always delivers.....some things in life are best left unchanged and I think this is one of them....even the staff pretty much remains the same.....

I have not had it myself, but I have been told the Little Schezuan in Little Silver does it very good. I have had other meals there that have been very good.

The best seafood market is at the Lobster House . They have a website as a restaurant and seafood market. They also have a fantastic deck area in the marina to enjoy their takeout and raw bar

I just returned from having dinner there on Sat. eve and we thought it was a very enjoyable meal. However the view of the Capital is somewhat blocked by the trees. Although it was 8;30 pm and lit, you are looking through the trees to see it. The trees were still very bear at this point, but you do not have a clear view and we had a table right against the windows. The meal and service were both very good, we had the porterhouse for two, 2 apps, 2 sides, 1 dessert, 2 cocktails and a $48 bottle of wine and the tab before tip was $230....

I don't think there is too much of a price difference between Nick & Stef's and Keen's and Keen's is much better. If you choose the pub room at Keen's it will be even less

I would suggest "The Treaty of Paris" at the historic inns of annapolis hotel, nice brick and candlelight room a meat and potato place.
