Really depends on the steak to be honest. Ribeye - medium rare NY - Rare+ Filet(which i rarely eat) - Rare + |

Not a deal killer to me. If the steak isnt cooked right, then they are going to make a new one. If I am eating my steak(no matter where I am) and get to the middle as opposed to starting there, I might be more annoyed. Give them another shot. |

Just to clarify, when it comes to steakhouses, I think one bad steak and the place is deemed "poor". I have been to a bunch of steakhouses in LV and all over the counrty, but pound for pound, I felt like Del Friscos delivers each time. I have been there with 4 people and groups of 24. If I were choosing my steakhouse in LV, I would narrow it down to 3 places: SW, Del Friscos, StripSteak. Two places to avoid: Prime, BOA. I would like to try striphouse as I have heard really good things about it. ----- |

Del Frisco's in my opinion is the best pound for pound steakhouse in LV. I love steakhouses and have been to SW, Prime, StripSteak, etc etc. I think a close second, maybe tied is SW because it is a little more "modern". However, Del Frisco's steaks are great, sides are really good and they have a good wine list. I would highly recommend it. ----- |

I will for sure write back. I am planning on going to Scarpetta there one night. |

I have posted this in the past and I think I am going to ask again because I am by nature indecisive. We are going to be in LV for 3 nights with another couple and have really narrowed it down. We often like to try a new place at a new hotel or just a new restaurant in general. To give you some background, here are some places we have tried and my thoughts on those. Okada - In general, I am not a fan of the sushi on the strip, I just dont think that it is that fresh. Their cooked items were really good. Del Friscos - My favorite steak in LV. Love the service, love the food, but would love to try a new steakhouse. SW - Outstanding, especially dessert. Wynn Buffet - Love it, we go at least once every visit. So here is what we are thinking for this Trip: Dinners: Scarpetta, Lakeside Grill, Raku, Wynn Buffett? Any other buffets worth trying(for which meal). We didnt like the bellagio(I know we are the exception). ----- |

Personally, I dont think either is so good for sushi. The sushi in LV(at least limited to the strip) is very so-so. My wife and I eat sushi regularly and have been to Okada, Nobu(LV and NYC), etc. Look for a place that has cooked items besides the sushi, just to be on the safe side. That being said, we have not been to BarMasa or Blue Ribbon in LV, but I do like Blue Ribbon in NYC. ----- |

Moderate Priced Dining for a group of 6-8 Thanks for the Rec's. I think we are going to stay close to the Strip. We are going to try Raku and possibly Ogden. |

Moderate Priced Dining for a group of 6-8 We are traveling to LV in February and are looking for Fun restaurants to try that are not over the top prices like Alex, etc. Doesnt have to be "inexpensive" like In and out, but some suggestions for places in the Range of BOA to Raku to Carnegie Deli to BLT. Thanks. ----- |

Question about Raku/Lineup Feedback Thank you for the info....we are looking forward to going there. |

Question about Raku/Lineup Feedback I have read a ton of great reviews on Raku and I am very excited to go there on our upcoming trip. We usually stay on(or very very close to the strip(Del Friscos)), but I think we are going to venture here. My question is: If we are not planning on renting a car, how difficult is it to get a cab back to the strip or will they call you a cab near the end of your meal? Also, as of now for our 3 night trip, we have the following planned and we are open to suggestions: 1st Dinner: BOA(outside): Somewhat traditional for my wife and I. Thanks in advance for the help. ----- |

I was wondering what the Benihana at the Hilton was like. If it is just standard, I am going to pass on it. Thanks for all of the suggestions. |

My wife and I hit up the wynn buffet every time we go to LV. It is pricier, but it has a few things that I require in a buffet. 1. Its clean. 2. Everything is fresh, nothing sits too long or at least seems like it has been sitting there too long. 3. Good quality and selection, but not overwhelming. We did the bellagio buffet and did not like it in comparison to the Wynn. Let us know how the Aria is, if you try it. |

Yeah, we were looking for excellent Asian(chinese), not Asian Fusion near or on the strip. How far off the strip is the restaurant? |
Thank you for the suggestions. I think we are going to hit up Musashi. |
I do not have a car. I would prefer on the strip, but we can travel(if worth it). |
Which Teppanyaki place would you suggest in LV? There for three nights. |
If we wanted to go to a couple of higher end Chinese Places, what would you suggest? Weng Lei or Blossom? |
3 Nights in LV.....suggestions from our narrowed list?? Thanks The more I read about it, the more I realized the expense of BarMasa. Thanks for the tip. I am going to try Carnevino for sure. |

3 Nights in LV.....suggestions from our narrowed list?? Thanks I know this seems like a generic email, but my wife and I have been to LV a bunch, usually stay towards the Wynn/Pallazzo end of the strip. We want to try some new places this trip at all price points. We have three dinners to plan. Have not been to any of the Aria restaurants. We love all kinds of food, but are staying away from the Rubuchon, Alex type places this trip. Here is a small list that we need to pick three from, we are trying not to be redundant in types of food: Mizuya ----- Lavo Restaurant |

Thank you. I think this might be a late-night place for us as well. |

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am doing a few Ala Carte Places, just wanted some ideas for Buffets. What are your Ala Carte suggestions? |

I am coming from Chicago at the end of the month and would like to hit up a couple different buffets. I have been to LV several times, but have only been to the Wynn Buffet(which was excellent and i would return). I have 2 Lunches, 2 Breakfasts and 1 Dinner. I am not sure if I will do all of them at a buffet, but I would like to find out which buffet is best for each meal? Thanks for your responses. |

HELP!!! GROUP DINNER FOR 24 MEN!!! Taqueria Cannonita is a solid place in the venetian and not cost prohibitive. Burger Bar in Mandalay is supposed to be excellent. |

I have been to vegas several times in the past several years. I am going with a big group at the end of April, we already have dinners picked out for two of the three nights(Okada and BOA). I will be there early the first day and need a lunch place and dinner place. I dont want to do steak. Anyone have suggestions for lunch? Italian for dinner? |
What is your favorite breakfast - Restaurant or Buffet? We are going in april and love breakfast and would like to stay on the strip, unless convinced otherwise. |

CARNEVINO - Excellent! (Las Vegas) Thanks for the review, we are supposed to head there in April and i was going to skip this restaurant. Any other good spots that you would reccommend while we are there. We have been to LV many times, but always like to hear peoples impressions of thier cant miss spot(s). Thanks. |
