Baby Shower Recs? Central/North Central/Arcadia areas

I'm planning a baby shower for my sister & am looking for a few recs as to where to have it. I haven't lived in Phx for about 10 years, so I'm completely lost as to where to even start looking! Any suggestions would be wonderful!

Mom to be is 29 & not into trendy/hipster locations at all; she has requested either Mexican or somewhere with salads/sandwhiches/etc. Sunday lunch/brunch in November.
I am planning on about 15 women, most of them are 40-60 years old. I'd like to spend somewhere between $20-30 pp (drinks excluded), and would really like a private dining area/patio.

Any thoughts? I've considered Phx City Grill, St. Francis, El Chorro & Vincent Market Bistro--possibly also Aunt Chiladas on 16th. I haven't been to any of these places, so don't quite know what to expect.

Thanks in advance!

OC Brunch on a Saturday (late Mothers'Day)

My parents (and sister) will be coming into Anaheim for the dental convention the week after Mothers' Day. We'd like to do a late celebration for Mothers' Day that Saturday. They're all staying near the Anaheim Convention Center, plus we need to include my in laws (in Laguna Niguel).

Any suggestions for a good place to all gather? Nothing too fancy or pricey, but something special enough for our mothers. We're thinking either a brunch or lunch, so suggestions for either are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Omaha! Let's talk Omaha! (CA local needs your help)

My sister is graduating from dental school in early May and has NO idea where to take the family (she's the only one in Omaha-the rest of us live in CA, AZ and OR). She's only lived there for 4 years and somehow can't seem to get this together....

We are looking for the following:
An awesome steak place
Mother's Day brunch
post-graduation place that has a good selection of stuff for the non-meat eater

Also, non-food related, anything fun to do or check out during the day. We have quite a bit of "down time" on Friday and Saturday and will need to entertain two grandmas, our parents, and myself and my husband (early 30's).

Thank you so much for any help!!

Taps, Beard Papa & Pinkberry in Corona

We went there for Easter brunch and were surprised that it wasn't terribly crowded! Even on weekend nights, it hasnt been too bad (yet).

I dont know if Pinkberry has opened yet. Its really, really new.

Narrowed it down to 3: You decide.

Sham, 26 Beach, or Bombay Cafe.

I'm trying to find a relatively low-key place for 8+ people the night before a graduation. Most of them will be flying in that evening and will be tired, so nothing too far away or loud. Grandma and a vegitarian are the two that are tough to please, but I think they'll be ok at these places. The rest of them don't usually eat anything more ethnic than say Olive Garden or PF Changs, and they asked to try out something new. (4 of them recently moved to small VERY caucasian areas from big cities and are missing ethnic food)

Thanks all!

Recs needed for 8+ people, including Grandma

We're staying in Santa Monica (SM Blvd/26th) and are looking for a place that would suit all of us. I dont want to go to 3rd Street Promenade, and I'd like to stay within about a 15 min drive. I'd like to stay below $25 or so per person. No sushi or Japanese. We have 1 vegitarian, 1 grandma who is not terribly adventurous but will deal with whatever, and I really hate seafood.

Any suggestions? I looked at the Library, but they dont take reservations. Anything similar? Pref. not a chain.

I tried to do a search on the board but wasn't terribly successful.
Thanks!
