Both Moro and St. John are must trys, but you will go a bit (not too much if you're careful) above 100.

If you revise that budget upwards by a considerable sum, check out Amaya.

Also for some good cheaper eats check out borough market if you're there days that it is open.

That would be incredible!

Thoughts on Bobby Van's?

Interesting, thanks! I also really like the burger at the bar at Morton's. That's what I was expecting today.

Thoughts on Bobby Van's?

That's kind of how I felt after this lunch. But I've read really good things, which makes me very confused. So what are your favorite steak places?

Thoughts on Bobby Van's?

I've read great things about the steaks there. So I thought I would go for lunch and try a burger. The food was rather mediocre and the service was negligent at best. Is it better at dinner time? Was it because I was sitting outside? What have your experiences there been?

Guajillo- really good food, excellent service

I'm also from CA and tried Guajillo a couple weeks ago. Totally agree that the food is better than any other Mexican I've tried in the area. But be warned, don't order the house margaritas, they are premixed, with, well, mix. But they will happily make you a real lime one if you ask:).

White Truffle Tasting Menu?

I think we're looking to have dinner somewhere with a tasting menu the week after Thanksgiving. If anybody has input on who had truffle menus last year that would be very helpful as well.

Uganda

I tried Arirang yesterday and sadly it was the worst Korean food I've eaten. The soonduboo was made with regular tofu, had no spice and a really odd flavor. The Galbee was super dry and the marinade tasted more like Chinese food than Korean. The place was nice and the service was decent, but no Korean staff and the food was awful.

[London] Korean restaurants and markets

My favorite Korean restaurant in London is Arang in Golden Square. I think it's owned by the people who own Ran which is also reccomended in this thread, but I think the service and thequality of food are a little bit better at Arang.

Dublin - Where to go to be wowwed?

I recently had a very enjoyable meal at Eden in Dublin. Probably came out to less than $150 per person with wine and three courses.

Korean Market in Central London

Hi does anyone know of a good Korean grocery shop in Central London? I think I had heard there was a place near Tottenham Court Road but I can't remember the name or location.

La Cucina Caldesi cooking classes

I went with a big group. It was fun, but I didn't really learn anything new. Also they were a bit short with the wine pours. Some of my group members seemed to lack culinary talent so a few of the dishes didn't come out too well. I don't think I'd pay for it myself, but if I were being taken I'd go again.

On a side note I love both their restaurants, totally worth checking out.

Bagels and steaks in London

Hawksmoore has about the best steak I've eaten in London. I'm pretty excited to try Maze Grill.
