Nice birthday lunch in Salem, MA?

Finz is always a good choice and consistent. Turners Seafood would also be a good option. If you like Indian food, Passage to India is fantastic. If you desire a fireplace nearby while you eat, Nathaniel's in the Hawthorne Hotel is decent.

New Yorker in Boston for three days.

A pint or two at Flann O'Brien's and dinner at Amrheins, best reward for a good report card!

Stonehurst Manor is very good and they have a pizza special on Fridays.I would say it is on the high end for the area as far as prices go.

Has anyone seen Peanut Chews locally?

The pesto pizza sounds fantastic on the menu and so does the white pizza with tuna. Heading there now.

It was always a good place for a pint. Looks like the condos upstairs win. One would think that the condo owners above would have known that living above a bar might be noisy at times. Best of luck to the employees and the owner.

Is it better than Little Italy on Cabot Street?

I try not to miss a visit to Karro in Eastham when I am in the area.

Gloucester/Cape Ann ideas

15 Walnut has great food but the service is lacking. What a surprise when you entrees arrive, then your salad, and then your appetizer. I guess we didn't remember to tell the server we would prefer our salad and appetizer to arrive prior to our entrees, our bad?

Suggestions near Marblehead

Jack Tar is tasty! Love their fish tacos.

For good Mexican, Jalapenos is worth a try on Main Street.

Would it be crazy to think that you could easily ride bicycles from the Brooklyn bridge to Coney Island? We are used to riding around Cambridge MA on bicycles without a problem.

We will be staying in Brooklyn for a week and would like suggestions on what not to miss during our stay. We enjoy ethnic food like Indian, Thai, and Mexican. We would also like to find some really good bagels and lox. We were planning on heading down to Coney Island for a day but a friend told us not to waste our time? We are not looking for fancy but more for unique.

Newport, RI foodie restaurant suggestion

Perro Salado is always on our list when visiting Newport, they have great Mexican food in a cozy atmosphere.

Cape Cod - need HEALTHY options please.

Karoo Kafe in Eastham is very good, lots of GF and low carb offerings. When they were in P-town, the place was always packed day and night.

South Shore lunch?

The Fairview Inn and restaurant has always been a favorite in Marshfield. It is no where near the highway but worth the trip.

Finz in Salem has an upstairs room you can rent for a party of that size and the food is typically good. I have also been to wedding showers and other parties at the Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead.

And we in Marblehead still miss it!

Big Pig BBQ, Lynnfield

I have been at a few gatherings catered by Tennessee's out of Peabody and the food was fantastic. They also offer a whole pig if that is what you are looking for.
