Reviews/messege boards discussing topics on restaurants in Hawaii should not have to be categorized as "Elsewhere in America." That category is filled primarily with Hawaii topics anyway.

Hawaii should have its own cateogry.

Wow Otis...that does NOT sound like the Pineapple Room I've been to. The Pineapple Room offers one of the best menus on the island, complemented by an excellent service staff. The servers there seem to ream with "Aloha Spirit," always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food there is outstanding. Never once were we ever disappointed with what the chefs there created. The Pineapple Room is one of those restaurants that is hard to find...one that offers great food, great service, and reasonable prices.

I've been to Stage several times, and love it. The food is excellent, and the service is impeccable! The decor is very..."artsy." Each table is an actual dining set available in the furniture showrooms of INspiration. Their seared ahi is delicious! They also have a really neat interactive wine bar outside where you can sample PLENTY different wines with the push of a button! Highly recommended.
