Flexible. I already dropped 50 bux on the theater tickets, so I would prefer to keep it on the low side. But anywhere up to around 20 clams a person, I suppose. |

I am taking my brother to a play at the Carpenter Center on Friday night at 8pm and we expect to get into town in time for dinner. I really don't know the area very well. Can anyone suggest a casual place that is neither a chain nor Enriques (which is all anyone seems to want to tell me about)? |

Help! I'll Be in the Waikiki Area with a Vegetarian! Thank you, everyone! Any new must-try spots for me (the 'hound) if I can venture out on my own? |

Help! I'll Be in the Waikiki Area with a Vegetarian! I'm taking a second trip to Hawaii with a vegetarian who is not a very adventurous eater. I LOVE food and would want to try all kinds of things, but the last time we went, finding my friend something to eat was a challenge. I thought we would be safe with Asian food, but she couldn't even get many noodle dishes that weren't made with fish or pork. We even tried an Italian place that used chicken broth for the base of all their sauces. :-( |

Weekend in Seattle: must eats? Taking my first trip to Seattle, but it will just be a quick turnaround. One day of work means that I will be staying at the Marriot, and I'm not renting a car, but I will brave public transport of all kinds if there is a great meal at the other end of the line. So, aside from Pike's Market, please let me know how to best get a taste of Seattle between Friday evening and Sunday evening! Thanks! |
