Road eats Charleston to Hilton Head to Savannah
On the road between Hilton Head and Savannah (if you aren't driving on I-95) is a great barbecue place called the Pink Pig, which my family and I used to eat at every Saturday for lunch. They have a few different types of sauces, which can please a variety of people.
Here is the only information i can find online about it:

La Alqueria - Menus?
Does la Alqueria (the el bulli hotel restaurant), outside of Sevilla, have "traditional" menu or only a tasting menu? I cant seem to find any information on the subject.
Thanks
Peculiar Passover Practices
batempte whipped cream cheese
macaroons (sic) of all sorts - which i personally cannot stand
salted butter and raspberry jelly on matzah for breakfast
home-made gefilte fish
home-made sweet and sour tongue (red meat as it was called before my sister and I learned the truth)
my grandmothers passover salad: grilled onions, chopped up hard boiled eggs and oil = delicious
Spanish - Anis Extra Seco?
thanks for the help....adding it to coffee sounds like it will work swimmingly
Favorite After-Party Snack?
as someone from the south, the staple of late-night post-drinking eats is Waffle House
nothing beats hashbrowns all the way (onions, cheese, ham, jalepenos, mushrooms, tomatoes, and chili on top of hashbrooms), country (or city) ham, waffles.....
Spanish - Anis Extra Seco?
I have a bottle of Anis (sic) Extra Seco, but I have no idea what to do with it? It will taste like licorice, i assume, but what should I be mixing it with? Any drink recipes?
Its also 55% alcohol.
thanks
Fine Dining in Seville

thanks for the recommendation
Kosher cooking substitutes
for shellfish my family has always used the imitation crabmeat, which you can buy in chuncks (for crab) or fake looking shrimps (which I guess would be imitations shrimp meat, but they both taste the same, nonetheless)
also, the morning star meal starters are good for gound beef, ground sausage substitutes, and can be found in most grocery stores' freezer section
Anyone Comment on Boston Ave Restnts, Medford?
the rest of the places are all pizza/salad/sandwich places.
Nick's House of Pizza
Andrea's Pizza
Espresso
Helen's
of the four I personally dont care for any of them, although Helen's calzones can sometimes be pretty tasty.

Sabra hummus in Boston area?
its funny you should ask this question - I just recently wrote them an email about finding their products in the Boston area, they responded:
Hello, we have two store in MA Butcherie 617-731-9888 and SWB New England 508-580-2929. Give them a call and they will let you know where you can find Sabra products.
Unfortunately, I havent had time to follow-up on these numbers.
Movies that revolve around food?
I am trying to think of movies that use food as their central theme, but am having a really hard time (besides Like Water for Chocolate). I dont know why but I am drawing a blank. Any recommendations?
(Is this the right board for this topic?)
Savannah--Need Recs quick
Personally, I don't like Clary's - if you are looking for Breakfast, make the drive out to Tybee Island (20 minutes from downtown) and go to the Breakfast Club. Johnny Harris is good for their fried chicken and bbq lamb. Another rec. for BBQ, would be Wall's BBQ (if you can find it - it is located down an alley). They however, have strange hours: Wed 11am-6pm; Thur-Sat 11am-9pm. If you are looking for seafood Desposito's is always good, although over-priced. George's is good for upscale dining (on tybee as well). I have never been to Casbah or the Pink House, even though the Pink House is one my grandmother loves.
