NW Indiana Dining
We are so lucky to have such a diversity of cultures in NW Indiana. I thought I would list a few of my favorite places.
Wagoners Ribs in Porter, Indiana...simply the best.
Tiebels Restaurant in Schererville, IN Lake Perch that makes you return again and again.
Aureloi's Pizza, several locations. A pizza that makes you wonder why you even try others.
Warsaw Inn located a bit West on Route 30. (Actually in IL) The best polish smorgasboard...yummm.
Lucrezias in Crown Point a great Italian experience.

Replacement for Phil Smidt's Perch?
They are supposed to be opening another Phil Smidts somewhere in the future. Tiebels has always been my choice. They have a neat little coffee shop on the west side of the building if you are just going for lunch.
Going a little further south on route 41 maybe 3 miles on the west side of the street is a restaurant called Dicks. Been there a long time and they have a wonderful Sauteed Perch.
