Gingerbread Oreos in Baltimore?

Anyone spotted them? Thanks!

Smoker-friendly terraces in Baltimore?

Anyone know of any? I asked in a previous thread about smoking ban exempt bars and it seems that era has ended. So now I've moved onto outside terraces.

Essentially, I am looking for a place to smoke a cigar and have a drink while killing time between a wedding ceremony and the reception in downtown Baltimore.

Any smoking ban exempt bars in Baltimore?

Before we had Havanna Club and Ropewalk. My internet research is mixed, but it seems neither is exempt any more. We are looking for somewhere to smoke a cigar in between a wedding and reception this weekend. It's downtown. Any ideas?

Camden Yards?

For brunch prior, I'd rec Miss Shirley's on Pratt Street. For dinner, take a cab over to Fells Point and try Thames Street Oyster House.

El Gran Pollo on Taylor-Good, cheap eats. Peruvian chicken

Also, I recommend Stoney River's happy hour. Yes, it's a chain, but they have a really good happy hour every day from 4-7 and a $7 burger and chips that's really good. It's located at Towson Town Center.

Dinner ideas in Baltimore for 4th of July?

Check out Thames Street Oyster House.

Food trucks?

We will be visiting LV and staying at the Palazzo next month. Do any food trucks visit The Strip?

Yankees Orioles Weekend Where to eat?

Where are you staying?

I'm assuming you are staying at the Inner Harbor. I'd suggest Miss Shirley's for breakfast, Attman's for lunch, and Thames Street Oyster House for dinner.

All are walkable, but you'd probably want to catch a cab for Attman's and Thames Street. I'd also suggest searching the board for other recs.

Is Baltimore Boring restaurantwise?

I second that recommendation for Artifact. They serve dinner Wednesday through Sunday now. It's been really good each time.

White Marsh restaurants for dinner

What about Hamilton Tavern? Right across the street from Clementine. I've literally never had a bad meal there.

Fresh Ricotta in Baltimore?

Pretty sure Mastellone's on Harford Rd does.

Best Chinese in the Towson area?

I'm just waiting to see if Hunan Taste ever opens on York Rd. it was supposed to open at the end of November. I inquired right around Christmas, but got nothing.

Lutherville breakfast/lunch recs

Can anyone advise on The Filling Station? It has been on my list for a while, but I have not made it there yet.

Otherwise I suggest Atwater's at Kenilworth for breakfast.

best indian in Baltimore?

I'm a big fan of Cafe Spice. It's on York Rd in Timonium, but I think it's worth the trip. I love the food and the owners are gems.

If you go, try the gobi manchuri appetizer.

El Gran Pollo, Towson

We've now been to El Gran Pollo twice and it's official: we like it better than Chicken Rico. Plus it's closer to home. Prices are comparable as are the side dishes. But I think the chicken is tastier as are the sauces.

It's in the same shopping center as Ruby Buffet and definitely worth the try.

Hunan Taste Coming to Towson

Not much of an isn't open yet. We wondered about it for Christmas and called the Catonsville location. The man who answered the phone wasn't very forthcoming, but he confirmed the Towson location had not opened.

Hunan Taste Coming to Towson

Hunan Taste has been on my to-try list for quite some time. I was checking out the menu and pleasantly surprised to see that they are planning a new restaurant at 503 York Rd. It is supposed to be open by the end of November.

a nice brunch restaurant near Columbia, MD for a Baby Shower

We hosted a bridal shower brunch at Clyde's a few years ago and it turned out really nice. We only had about 25 guests and everyone was able to order from a small menu. It was very reasonable.

Mothers Day in Towson, Northern Baltimore.

Whenever I hear MIL, I think Bluestone in Timonium. Search the board. It's perfectly acceptable, but it sure ain't gonna wow you.

And I saw this the other day. Might be worth a shot:

Pho Towson and Bar

Yes. I think it's a Best Western now, but yes.

Pho Towson and Bar

has anyone tried this place yet? A friend is recommending it and I plan to give it a try soon. It seems really new.

Toss-Northeast Baltimore

Anyone been? It's a new pizza place on York Rd near Bellona. I hear the owners are the original owners of Zella's. The City Paper gave it a good review, but after their good review of Los Amigos, I cannot trust them.

Tooloulou-Pizza Coming to Harford Road

And they are open:

Sweet/Flavored Hard Cider?

I am a fan of Crispin. There are several different varieties. I usually get the one with the red label that is a larger sized bottle. I would say that the sweetness level falls somewhere in-between Woodchuck and Strongbow.

Valentino's on Harford Rd./Baltimore

I feel compelled to offer a differing opinion on Valentino's. Yes, it's clean and IMO very well managed, but I found the food to be mediocre. If you're in the mood for eggs and bacon, I'm sure it's fine choice OR if it's 3 AM.

It's literally a block from my house and I've eaten there maybe 3 times in 7 years.

Open Christmas Day in Baltimore

Check out some Indian restaurants. Cafe Spice in Cockeysville was open last year. Darbar in Fells Point is supposedto be open.

Can Anyone Offer More Information About "King Syrup"

Yummm....pour it on some biscuits....

Tooloulou-Pizza Coming to Harford Road

It looks like Lauraville is getting a fancy pizza place. I'm feeling pretty excited about this:

In other neighborhood news, Clementine was broken into last night. They are open and this seems like a good time to patronize them.

family lunch in Baltimore

Just out of curiosity, have you tried Neopol at Belvedere Square? No, it's not sit down, but has replaced Atwater's as my favorite place there.

Miss Shirley's comes to mind as a good place for a family lunch.

Mama's on the Half Shell gets a lot of love. I'm certainly in the minority, but I think it's overrated. I've always found the food to be either bland or really oily.
