January 2012 Openings and Closings Yeah the Marshalls situation sux. They knew when they moved in it was a temporary location. My dad is friends with the owners. I haven't heard of a solid contingent plan. But I'll keep my ears open. |

Post Your Three Favorite Things You ate in Boston in 2011 I also did not get out much this year. The bank account has been appalling light :( 2. My sister got me chocolates from a shop in Southie can't remember the name now but, Dark Chocolate filled with lavender scented caramel (and maybe a hint of chili? ) topped with sea salt. TO DIE FOR YUMMM!!! 3. Not new but EVERYTHING I have everytime I go to Meyers+ Chang! Always worth the visit!! :) |

What Happened to B&G Oysters??? Now that you say that it makes a lot of sense. I too am curious after your posting I looked on craigslist and Bostonchefs don't even seem like she trying to hire repacements. Does anyone by any chance know where the old chefs went??? cuz thats where I want to eat! |

Clio vs. L'espalier: Boston's Best? The Foods great at both. I prefer L'espalier for service and sometimes slightly prefer the food at Clio. But I think one thing all Bostonian foodies can agree on is that Ken Oringer NEEDS to lay off the confetti flowers they're just getting a little ridiculous haha |

What Happened to B&G Oysters??? ok well maybe it was just me I tend to pick up on subtle neuances others might not. Also there were some new faces cooking I hadn't seen before so maybe Its just a new crew that would account for the difference |

What Happened to B&G Oysters??? Yes that was roughly the menu and as I said I was still good, but it seems more lke No. 9 food now. Last when I went there It was more contemporary american rather that the No.9 signature contemporary french/ italian |

Seeking PuPu Platter Goodness in WRox/Ros/B'line area The Tahiti in Dedham is you best bet for a campy feel. Its still very family friendly inside a little run down but not gross. The food is generic run of the mill chinese nothing to write home about but edible. You can get coctails in plastic coconuts and such virgin cocktails too I believe |

What Happened to B&G Oysters??? I went to B&G last week and was suprised to find everything I loved about the food and the atmosphere gone! I had eaten there last in Dec. had one of the best meals of my life. The menu was interesting and the entrees were light and surprising. But I returned this last week to find mediterranian? french? food not really sure howto caterogorize it. Dont get me wrong the food was still good but it was missing the flair and excitement of my previous meals there. Also it seems really slow low energy atmosphere wise. What happened to the crowded boiterious fastpaced B&G I fell in love with???? |
