Best CCC in L.A.? That's chocolate chip cookies to those of you whose teenagers don't text them abbreviations all the time ...

Haven't had all these cookies, but I agree that Snookies is great.

I also like the chocolate chip cookies at Lady Di's Cookies in Valencia, and Wonderland Bakery in LA.

Candy Store Los Angeles

Need to put together a bundle of color-themed candies. Specifically, I'm looking for a place that sells single color M&Ms packs, individual flavor Jelly Belly jellybeans, and perhaps has a good selection of taffy flavors.

No idea where to buy bags of single color M&Ms. I know I have seen Jelly Belly stands with individual flavors but can't remember where. I know Rocket Fizz has taffy but not the other stuff.

Any candy stores in LA that have all of these things in one place? Or at least stores that have one of the items?

TGIFriday's, Applebee's, or Chili's?

I would agree with this ranking. I used to eat at these places a lot, but haven't been in years, so my thoughts might be out of date.

I've always had good experiences at Chili's, mixed but generally positive experiences at TGIF, and fair to horrible experiences at Applebee's. Of course with chains, the quality of food and service at any individual location can vary drastically.

Are there any specifics that you are looking for?

Brown Rice Sushi Restaurant?

I'm looking for good sushi restaurants that will make sushi with brown rice.

I know Kabuki does and most grocery stores will, but is there any place else? My fiancee can only eat brown rice and I'd love to have more options!

A tip if you like(d) T.J. Cinnamons

Thanks for the tip. I am from the midwest and remember TJ Cinnamons fondly. Baldwin Hills is a drive for me but I'll put it on the ever-growing to-do list.

According to the Arby's site, there is one TJ Cinnamon near the LA area -- down in Brea, CA (2525 E IMPERIAL HWY). I havn't been there either. I wonder which one is more like the TJ Cinnamon we remember.
