African Food in Cape Town

Looks like there are many nice restaurants in Cape Town, but a lot of them are lack of African charm. Would you please suggest some restaurants serve local/ African cusine? Any local favorites? I am OK with any budget.

Please help my President Day Weekend dining plan

I am coming to NOLA during President Day Weekend, arriving on Friday morning. Here is my dining plan:

Friday 2/13:

Lunch at Galatoire's or Bayona - which one to pick?

Dinner at Jacques Imo's but worry about the wait. Besides, some from the broad said the food quality is going down. May be K-Paul instead?

Saturday 2/14:

Brunch at Commander's Palace

Dinner at Cochon

Sunday 2/15 - casual dining day:

Choose between Coop's Place, Acme Oyster House, Dante's Kitchen, Eat, Praline Connection, & Willie Mae's Scotch House

Which two are the best?

Monday 2/16:

Lunch at Commander's or Cafe Bon Ton

Can't decided going to Commander's for lunch or brunch. Besides, any other restaurants have prix fixe lunch under $30? Please help!

Gordon Ramsay restaurant or Maze?

I am interested to have lunch at either at Gordon Ramsay London at NYC (main dining room) or the more casual Maze? Any comment about the restaurants? Thanks in advance.

Lunch Picks for 2/3 star restaurants - help!

I really want to go to L'Astrance too. Just hope the waitlist will open up. Otherwise I am likely to pick Gay Savoy. Since my last day for lunch is a Monday, both Les Elysees & Les Ambassadeurs will be close for lunch. Pierre Gagnaire, however, serves lunch on Monday. Le Meurice is open for Monday as well, but I heard the lunch is far less impressive than dinner & the choices are limited. Is that ture?

Lunch Picks for 2/3 star restaurants - help!

I want to have 2 really nice lunchs for my four day trip in Paris. Have confirmed reservations at Les Ambassadeurs, Pierre Gagnaire, & Guy Savoy (the 100 Euro lunch menu)? Since I can only have two, which one should I let go?

Besides, I am also on the waiting list of L'Astrance. If it open up, should I just take it & forgo another one?
