need to buy a mixer for pizza dough I would suggest checking out a Viking Mixer. The horsepower and quality can't be beat. |

What NOT to miss in Pittsburgh? I was only in Pgh for a very short time and only ventured to Primanti's (otherwise it was typical franchises..) Here is a link to a chow blog on Pgh restaurants that may be helpful. It is a great city. Don't forget to ride the "incline" :-) Sorry not be more help.. |

Looking for great food stores, restaurants, grills, etc. in the keys. Staying in Marahon and haven't been there for a number of years. |

They do sell separately. I hope you enjoy the pan. (I have the 1 qt sauce pot and love that too... so many uses.) |

The CIA Masters Collection 7 ply is what I have and use all the time. It works really well. |

What are your Late Night Snacks? Fresh popped pop corn. Just got some carmel topping from the Amish PopCorn Co and it is pretty good. Not homemakde but for late night or football games - it all gets eaten. |

I have a couple of the CIA pans and I find them to perform very well. I have been very pleased with my purchase. |

Thanks - this recipe looks like the one I tried... question - when cooking the filling - do you wait till it is really thick? I did the time stated in my recipe and now I am thinking I didn't wait long enough. My filling was loose too. (it tasted good tho :-)) Okay - re-read all the psots from the link you provided. You have answered the question in this reply. I am now anxious to try again. Thanks for your help. |

Using A Hand-Mixer In Stainless Steel Pots Try BarKeepers friend on your stainless steel (not sure about the mirror finishes). I use Bar Keepers Friend (it is like a powder cleanser) on my Viking Stainless steel and it makes the pot look like new. I use metal utensils - I use a hand masher (don't make 6 qts worth) so I am without a strong opinion on the electric beater. I am thinking ... no. |

New Chantal Cookware - Copper Fusion I love the chantal EOS and the copper fusion - espcially the platinum in the Copper Fusion. CHeck out www.parkerspantry.com - they carry the Chantal products. Great service too. |

New Chantal Cookware - Copper Fusion I have Chantal EOS and some of the copper fusion - biggest mistake I made was keeping the heat too high. These pans heat quickly and hold the heat - turn down your burner. Also use a light oil - the pan should would great. |

Thanks! I will watch and learn from a master! |

Ham bone, ham bone, have you heard? If you are really in a bind - buy a ham slice with the "mini" bone in it. It is not the ultimate but will do the trick. |

Attempting to bake a lemon merinque pie. Last two attemps ended up with weeping meringue and a filling that really didn't set up well. Used the superfine sugar for the merigue. |

You have to have them from White Castle. Best from the restaurant - tho the ones in the grocery store freezer will do in a pinch. |
