Good Eats in Vista, CA! Where are they?
I second the Chili coast vote(best French Dip! and cajun fries). Japanese I like JF Japanese Cafe but the one on the border of oceanside vista is better than downtown(and sushi is 50% off) Los cabos is great for a carne burrito or torta. Chin's has good chinese I havn't had anything I don't like. Sunrise cafe is great for breakfast ( italian sausage scramble). Giant New York pizza by Kragen not to be confused with ny giant pizza on same street ( get the huge one u will want more I promise). Taquiza has these great lil tacos but they ONLY have tacos no rice or beans or anything. Caio's has great Italian and a lunch buffet that is good too. I agree too that La paloma is good if u like something different they even serve antelope and ostrich. However I sugest the shrimp and lobster fajitas. The town is small but u just need to know where to go.
Best clam chowder in monterey?
I used to work there on cannery row. one of the restraunts had a cart outside w/ bread bowls and the best clam chowder i have ever had. My friend wants to go there and I don't know what restraunt to tell her to go to. Can anyone help?

Enzos BBQ in Oceanside is great and so quick, try the brisket, ribs and sweet poetatoe fries. Everything is good you can't go wrong. there is a quickie Italian place next to it called Pasta break the is good too try the Smoked Chicken Alfredo.
Good Buritto in San Diego
I know you didnt ask but my favorite chinese restraunt recently reopened in Bonsall Peking Wok( next to the movie theater) try the pork w/ string beans, two flavor shrimp, crispy duck, paper wraped chicken and egg flour soup. the carne @ Los Cabos in vista is my fav, it is just a little hole in the wall.

If you will be in temecula or north sandiego Fish House Vera Cruz. Ooooh I had the best shrimp and scallop scewers. Everything is always perfect.They have three restraunts in the area Temecula, San Marcos(restraunt row), Carlsbad( 2 blocks from beach and shops).
SAN DIEGO- Where's the BEST Carne Asada Burrito?
The best Carne I've had recenlty is from a little place in Vista(North SD) called Los Cabos. I love their tortas though it is the best torta bread too.

Best Comfort Food In North County - SD
Hi Enorah, I am sorry about your kitty. I know how you feel though needing something xtra good to help you feel like enjoying something again. It depends what u feel like, right off the bat I would say Enzo's BBQ in Oceanside. Everything there is awesome, sweet poetatoe fries, corn bread hush puppies, bbq brisket(*), ribs and Enzo is so nice. If you are in the mood for a burger or french dip the Chili Coast in Vista is a must, don't forget the cajun fries. Chinese would be my fav Peking Wok in bonsall, pork w/ string beans, two flavor shrimp, crispy duck, egg flour soup and have to have the paper wraped chicken. Pizza depends I love Da Gorgio (their cheese is the best) and Giant NY pizza in Vista( be careful there a new one with a similar name in vista, not as good). If u are by the coast there is a place that has the best corn dogs and clam strips but i can't think of what it is called it is the last building before there is no more buildings betweeen the water and coast highway going south in carlsbad. I hope you feel better.
ideas for leftover mac & cheese?
My mom used to make this when I was little. Leftover mac n cheese, splash of milk, small can of bushes baked beans and cut up hotdogs. It sounds kinda gross but believe me it is good.She called it little angel casarole.

I just was looking for some too and found these two: Cuvee in Del Mar and Stellas on third in Chula Vista. Have you had any luck finding anygood ones?
