el salvadoran breakfast in Somerville?

Thanks, my go to breakfast at El Salvadoran places (here and in NY at La CabaƱa SalvadoreƱa) is eggs with chorizo and plantains and beans with tortillas (the thicker ones). Taco Loco used to have a good one, so Ill try some of the others people recommended.

Coming to Philadelphia for marathon, need some advice

I am coming to Philadelphia for 4 days to check out some new places, revisit some old ones, and see the marathon. Some requests are some international food Philadelphia does really well, italian (ideally $25 or less main course), and other suggestions in the under $20 per main price range near Center City/West Philadelphia or places we could get to on public transit. When I lived there I remembered really good Ethiopian, great diners, and Monks Cafe being a favorite but I didn't have much money so I didn't eat out much so looking forward to more exploring. Thanks

el salvadoran breakfast in Somerville?

I really like El Salvadoran breakfast and had a good one at Taco Loco in East Somerville, but their new menu (online at least) doesn't have breakfast. Any suggestions for really good el salvadoran breakfasts in Somerville? It looks like several offer it but wondered if people preferred one in particular?

Brown Jug Chelsea recently?

Recently went there for the wings which were recommended here, and they were really good.

El Diez Food Truck

There is a bodega next to Mr. Vs auto in Hyde Square section of JP that sells tasty empanadas, but they are Dominican style, not Argentine.

Mid Priced (under $20 entree) restaurants in Williamstown Area

Thanks, Public looks really good. We don't have hikes in mind (suggestions appreciated) but just thinking a few hikes of a few hours, maybe one in the Green Mountain Natl' Forest and one closer to Williamstown.

Mid Priced (under $20 entree) restaurants in Williamstown Area

We will be in Williamstown MA for the long weekend and looking for lunch and dinner places, ideally under $20 for dinner entrees though if there is a can't miss place we could splurge one night. We will be at MassMoCA one day and The Clark another, so lunches near there or good sandwiches to bring hiking appreciated. Thanks.

Nazca Cafe Restaurant in Chelsea or another resto option in Peabody - FRI 10/10

El Santaneco Restaurant in Chelsea (5th St) is really good El Salvadoran, the carne asada plate is great.

Where to go in East Cambridge....? Slim Pickings?

Casa Portugal is a great neighborhood Portuguese place, one of my favorite low key/high taste places.
East Side Grill has some of the best pizza in Boston.

Indian food in Cambridge

Masala (Teele Sq in Somerville) and Dosa n Curry in Union (also in Somerville), but both are close to Cambridge and Masala delivers.

Harvard Square: what's on your list?

Kaju Tofu House has great Korean soups, Cafe Pamplona is a nice funky lunch spot and the Beehive is a good place for drinks and live music. Crema Cafe for coffee.

lunch recommendation for out-of-town guests

Atwoods in East Cambridge has a great beer list, gorgeous outdoor space and awesome food.

I havent eaten at Daedalus in harvard sq, but the outdoor patio is really nice and the fact that Dylan and others played in the space (before it was Daedalus) might be cool for musicians.

Delivery for Inman Sq

Masala in Teele delivers to Inman, which (I think) is great. Rod Dee Thai in Porter will sometimes deliver to Somerville, it seems like it is a matter of how busy they are. And Zoes (Chinese) delivers. Those are probably the 3 favorites I have had delivered to Inman.

The Biscuit in Somerville?

Great fresh bread, good sandwiches and a really good kale salad. Also, they have a nice small outdoor area. And the owner has been a great supporter of making Somerville better for biking.

Looking for Nice Restaurant in Boston at $20/pp. Is that EVEN possible?

Casa Portugal in Inman/East Cambridge is a nice small Portuguese place that is pretty reasonable, really good food and a nice atmosphere of a local family restaurant.

Kennedy Fried Chicken

Not fried chicken, but my two favorite cheap chicken places are rotisserie, Alex's Chimis (make sure you get some vinegar onions) in Hyde Square JP and Machu Pichu Charcoal Chicken in Union Sq Somerville.

Globe reports Whole Foods looking to buy chunk of Johnnie's Foodmaster stores

I live near the Somerville location, which is walking distance to another Whole Foods, which is frustrating that our options are being reduced, like when Blockbuster took over video stores. Its fine that some people prefer Whole Foods, but its like Starbucks- do we need one on every block? The Beacon St Johnnies has a huge parking lot that is rarely even 1/3 full since most customers walk or bike, so I'm sure Whole Foods, whose customers are more the SUV type, liked that attribute.

26 Hours in Buenos Aries

I would also recommend trying helado (gelato/ice cream) in BsAs. My favorite place is Nonna Bianca in San Telmo, at Estados Unidos 425. Limon al pisco is particularly good. But the city is full of heladarias, they are very popular and tasty here. I would second La Gran Parrilla del Plata and try ordering provoleta as an appetizer, many parrilas have it, it is provolone cheese grilled on the parillla.

Help us find a Cozy Tavern!

Jame's Gate in JP is great, friendly, has a fireplace, and good food.

Great new Nepali / Indian restaurant in Somerville: Masala

This is one of our favorite new restaurants, along with nearby Istanbulu. We've been twice, once eating off the indian side, once off the nepali. Everything was great, especially:
Mo-mo chicken (nepali dumplings), dal makhani (lentils) & rojesh lamb. Naan is super fresh and tasty.

Dark and Stormy- summer of 2011

I really like making it with Goya ginger beer, it seems spicier/more gingerier to me and, as a bonus, is super cheap.
