Help me choose one of these Philly restaurants!
Supper its not near the Sofitel at all. Tinto is down the street and one of the top 5 in the city go there. It may take you less then 5 minutes to walk there.
Philly during the fourth
if you have time you should see a Phillies game the ballpark food is the best in the country and the firework on the 4th are cool.
Cooper's Seafood in Pittston PA
my brother graduated from Scranton last week and we when there after it. This place sucks and don't go there. Food bad, service bad, the only thing the place has going for it was the view of the river and they would not sit us in that room even though the hole room was empty
Miracle Fruit
Did anyone read the article in the Times last week about the miracle fruit that changes the taste of sour to sweet etc. Wanted to know if anyone know of a supplier in Philly.
10 Arts
Went to 10 Arts last night. Eric was there making rounds to tables and very nice (most of the night he just seat with Stephen Starr who was having dinner) Got the fish burger which had no flavor, corn chowder was okay, the pretzel may have been made three days ago because they were staleand dry, cocktails are way over-priced $15 each and wines by the glass started at that price too. The space is okay I don't know what they did that took months for construction to finish. It basically looks the same with these ugly prism-like colored arches. So after a dinner for two came out to $185.00 I'm not sure I'll be going back anytime soon or at least not till they get somethings worked out. I do think the lounge area is really cool and will be a great place to get a drink and a bite to eat without the huge price tag.
P.S. It was the first night so I sure there is going to be a lot of changes in the next few weeks

Help needed for a graduation weekend in Philadelphia
I have never heard about that resy restriction at Continental(I've had parties there after 5:30 on a Saturday night before). I would call back and ask for a manager the SRO always does a good job with taking care of patrons. and if that doesn't work I would just go to the Continental anyway, the waits are never that long and you could hang on the roof and have a drink while waiting.
