Do either of these restaurants offer "take-out?"

Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Opens in Beverly Hills

When in doubt, place an order with Zabars or Russ & Daughters in NYC, I'm willing to pay a little extra to get the real deal.

Looking for the new Ben & Jerry's flavors --any sightings?

Red Velvet Cake and Clusterfluff available at most Stater Brothers and Vons (at least in the Inland Empire). I have not seen Late Night Snack out here yet.

Beijing-style dumplings in SGV - Luscious Dumplings, Dumplings 10053, or?

Does this restaurant (or any of the other dim sum places) allow take-out, or is it always a sit-down experience? I'd certainly make an hour's trip for it.

DYING OF HUNGER IN THE I.E.

I have heard that the Delish Deli on Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside has "New York style" deli sandwiches...don't know if anyone on the board has been there yet.

NEW JEWISH DELI IN DOWNTOWN RIVERSIDE

Has anyone tried the new Jewish-style deli in downtown Riverside? It would be nice to have a local NY-style deli rather than having to "schlep" to Los Angeles (Canters, Langers, etc) or to Palm Springs (Shermans) when you gotta have a corned-beef on club with Russian dressing and cole slaw, and you gotta have it NOW!

CHOW DOWN IN CARLSBAD

Looking for good places to chow down in Carlsbad and surrounding areas (Enicnitas, Solano Beach, etc.). Good food, reasonable prices, nothing trendy, nothing "too-too." We like fresh seafood but reviews of the local restaurants by the Chowhounds say the food is OK and is overprices. We're easy to please - if we get desperate we'll pick up a rotisserie chicken at Sam's Club!

GOOD EATS NEAR ORANGE COUNTY PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (COSTA MESA)

GONNA SEE "A CHORUS LINE" AT OCPAC THIS WEEKEND. IS THERE A NEARBY DELI OR PRETTY GOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA?

LOBSTER CANTONESE, PLEASE?

I have been craving "East-coast style" lobster cantonese, with the white "eggy" sauce and ground pork. I live in Purgatory (i.e. San Bernardino) but would be willing to drive to the Los Angeles area to satisfy the cravings.

HAMANTASCHEN

It's that time of year again, kids!
Recommendations for good hamantaschen, either locally or to purchase on-line?

NOSHING NEAR THE WILSHIRE THEATRE

Coming in from the 'hood (San BernarGhetto) Sunday and looking for a deli near the Wlshire Theatre. Is Canter's or Greenblatt's near the theatre? Looking for a decent corned beef-and-pastrami nosh.

BUYING RUGELACH OR HAMANTASCHEN ON-LINE

Any area bakeries that sell hamantaschen or rugelach on-line. I'm in a cultural and culinary desert out here in the Inland Empire. Nearest authentic delis are in Palm Springs (Sherman's) or Los Angeles (Canter's, Langer's, etc.) I've looked for authentic Jewish baked goods locally, and the help thought "hamantaschen" was a disease or a code violation (...OK, I'm exaggerating....)

CALIFORNIA CLAMBAKE?

Does anyone know of any restaurant in the southern California area that offers a somewhat authentic New England clambake?

NEW CHINESE RESTAURANT IN RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA

The San Bernardino Sun restaurant critic recently reviewed a new Chinese restaurant that opened on Fourth Street (near Ontario Mills) in either Ontario or Rancho Cucamonga. Anyone know the name?
